wasn't gonna post anything 3rd Liga-RL but some interesting things

    RL
-04 CF Copado bags his 1st ever adult hat trick and now jumps at 10 goals in RL this season!!!! Noice to see him bag double digits BEFORE Winter break. I feel at this point he's just running down his contract to bail free transfer.....although should bail in Winter tbh.

10 goals and 5 assists in 17 RL matches this season too. He's 7th in RL Bayern scoring table but only 4 behind 1st place, so catching up.

-04 CF Wagner is FINALLY back after his Summer injury,1st time on bench for new club Bayern II!!!! I do like idea of Copado bails in Winter and Wagner takes his XI spot!!!

-Stuttgart II continues their roll, with 6-0 W and are contenders for 3rd Liga promotion
Just look at that XI=05 GK Seimen (back from injury and clean sheet), 03 RB Hoppe, 04 CB/LB Reichardt, 05 M di Benedetto, 05 M Ulrich, 04 AM/W Paula, 02 AM Egloff, 03 CF Kastanaras

8/11 all interesting/promising players.....with 3 05s in XI for 1st time too, also with 3 back to back XIs for Ulrich+di Benedetto together. We need 05 CB Fritschi fit again and for 05 LB Azevedo to be upped to II.....

this is likely the XI but with Seimen in goal, does seem like Ulrich is playing CM these days.
    upload_2023-11-26_10-35-44.png

    02 AM Egloff, 2 XIs=2 goals
    04 AM/W Paula=12th goal of season......also hit crossbar
03 CF Kastanaras with double=6 goals in 6 XIs
02 CF Galjen=15th goal of season
    03 W Drakas=2nd goal of season

looks like Egloff, Paula, Ulrich, Kastanaras, Drakas also got assists.

looks like 02 M Meyer is injured yet again, sheesh, feel sorry for players like him, 02 M Mosandl, 02 CF Pakia etc

    yeah can Stuttgart integrate already......................

looks like could be chances for 04 CB Gechter to breakthrough 2BL Hertha XI, looking for 3rd XI of season. I'm curious if Dardai+Klemens will ever return to CB or are they perm DMs now??? Looking forward to return from injury of 05 AM/W Maza and 06 AM Dardai. Then U19-II are full of promising talents. Looking like 05 CB Hoffmann (3 back to back XIs), 05 AM/W Popp, 05 RB Weiland have all been promoted to II.

Hertha BSC is threatened with the loss of its captain
    Leistner injury: clarity on Monday

Hertha BSC is threatened with the loss of captain Toni Leistner (33) in the home game against SV Elversberg next Sunday. The first replacement in the defense center is youngster Linus Gechter (19).

Pal Dardai didn't sound particularly confident. "Toni has a muscle injury," said Hertha's coach, referring to defense chief Toni Leistner. "It doesn't look so good. I probably have to change a few things" - in the line-up for the next match day. According to kicker information, an examination by a specialist on Monday should provide clarity about the severity of the thigh injury and the possible length of absence.

    Gechter would be the replacement
Leistner was there for the full 90 minutes on Friday evening in Hanover, but his participation in seven days against newly promoted Elversberg is currently very questionable. The captain has only been missing once this season so far: on matchday 12 in the 0-0 draw in Rostock, when he served a yellow-red suspension. In the away game on the Baltic Sea, Linus Gechter represented the veteran - and would do so again in the event of Leistner's absence against Elversberg.

In Hanover, Gechter came on as a substitute after 79 minutes, and on Saturday he got another 83 minutes of match practice in the U23 ranks in the Regionalliga Nordost in the 2-0 win in Erfurt. So far this season he has made five second and four fourth division appearances, as well as two DFB Cup appearances. Without an injury sustained due to overzealousness, Gechter would probably have played even more often. Weeks ago, the youngster, who was active for the German U20s in the November international match window and for the U21s in September, trained without consulting a personal coach and tore a muscle fiber - to Dardai's annoyance.

Hertha squad full of young talents
Gechter is now a fully-fledged option again and could further reduce the average age of Berlin's starting eleven against Elversberg. In any case, home-grown Pascal Klemens (18), who scored his first professional goal in Hanover, Marton Dardai (21, both defensive midfielders) and Marten Winkler (21, right winger) are currently in the Bundesliga relegated team. Tjark Ernst (20), who came from VfL Bochum in the summer of 2022, has established himself as a reliable regular in goal, while attacker Derry Scherhant (21) regularly comes into play as a joker.

With a view to the many youngsters, coach Dardai said after the 2-2 draw in Hanover, where Hertha had given up a 2-0 half-time lead: "It's a learning effect. There were so many young players on the pitch in the final phase. It's a miracle doesn't exist. They're not miracle players, they're great talents. We're building them up." They get playing time and trust - and grow with their tasks. Klemens and Ernst in particular have recently had an impressively steep learning curve.

There was also praise for the talents from the head coach - and a mandate to the established players: "What's nice: the young players are top performers for us. But the older players, the leading players, have to improve."

For Hertha coach Pal Dardai (47) this is no problem at all. On the contrary, he is full of praise for the defender. Dardai: “I am an absolute fan of Linus. When he plays, he always convinces me.”

    Coach Dardai praises defender Gechter
Dardai: “You can always rely on Linus. He has good positional play, is strong in the air and energetic in duels.”

    Swiss 1st
-04 W Kade had assist in last match pre-International break and today scored opener in 2-0 W for Basel!!!! Massive W takes Basel out of relegation spot.

although 06 M/W Onyegbule was unused, 1st bench in awhile and looking for his 2nd XI of season.

a bit more on the RL
-LOL Stuttgart II hit post 3 times, Paula X2 and Ulrich X1.
-05 RB Scholze's assist for 04 CF Copado's opener was very impressive, dribbled past 2 players and then the deadly throughball to reach Copado who then scored with a pretty nice lob over the GK. One of his other goals was also nice, where he dribbled past one with ease and then shoot to score.

haven't watched Scholze play in awhile but yeah he's better than Manuba and always looked interesting. Not surprsing brokethrough II XI, will be curious about him once he goes pro in future.

top of the table clash in 3rd Liga, Jahn emerge victorious and 1-0 W over Dynamo and now move to 1st place, 3 pts ahead of 2nd place Dynamo and 10 pts ahead of 3rd place aka promotion playoff.

looks more and more likely that 02 GK Gebhardt (kept his 7th clean sheet of season and 2nd in chart. Its also his 3rd back to back clean sheet too) is gonna be a 2BL #1 next season without need of transfers!!!!

also 02 GK Schreiber (on loan) had his 2nd back to back clean sheet for 3rd Liga Saarbrucken. After becoming #1 he's had 2 clean sheets in 4 matches.

its very good to see that
    -1BL=02-Atubolu
    -2BL=03-Ernst, 03-Urbig (loan to 1BL promotion candidates)
    -3rd Liga=02-Gebhardt (2BL promotion candidates), 02-Schreiber (loan), 03-Schenk (loan)

are all #1s.....been saying for some years now that these 6 GKs were looking like top 3 02s and top 3 03 GKs in Germany......its great to see 6/6 all pro #1s this season.

Urbig has most clean sheets in 2BL and Gebhardt closing in on most clean sheets in 3rd Liga. I do think if Furth go up to 1BL than Urbig needs to 100% go with them to 1BL, don't return to Koln who might go down to 2BL or end up on their bench if they survive.

way things are going its very possible 6/6 are gonna be RELEVANT pros #1s next season. It seems headed for MIN 4/6 with Gebhardt going up.

of course still plenty of other 02-03 GKs (more 03 than 02 tbh) like 03-Krumrey who is #1 in Austrian 2nd and has made couple of RB Salzburg bench, if he becomes Salzburg #1 in future could catapault him completely, more under radar and he can't play Austrian 2nd forever either, so at some point has to make jump higher. Rest very hard to predict as long as they rot in RL level. Although if 01-Lotka bails from Dortmund II could open door for a 02-04 to become #1.

on topic of Jahn being likely 2BL promotion candidates, do hope that 03 CB Breunig (on loan from 2BL FCN) who is regular XI that he joins Jahn perm......I don't want him and 06 CB Jeltsch competing at 2BL FCN, its win-win both get to be in 2BL.

DFB.de: Noah, before the season you moved to Spain to FC Barcelona and know a large part of the Spanish team. Was it a strange feeling playing against the boys for the first time?

Noah Darvich: It was a very nice feeling. I live with most of them at the boarding school, so I was happy to see everyone again. Sure, winning against them is pretty nice.

DFB.de: The Spaniards dominated the game for long periods of the first half and you had little control of the game. What was that about?

Darvich: Above all because of their quality. We actually did everything the coach told us to do and it worked quite well. The Spaniards didn't have many high-profile chances. They had a lot of possession and we ran after them a lot, but that was fine with us. We took advantage of our chance and ultimately won the game.

DFB.de: You got into the game better in the second half. What did the coach give you in the dressing room?

Darvich: Stay calm, wait for our chances and then take advantage of them. We got it with the penalty whistle and used it.

DFB.de: And the opening goal in the middle of the second half gave you additional motivation to give everything until the end, including twelve minutes of stoppage time, right?

Darvich: Yes, I think so. When you're leading 1-0, it's always easier to run than when the game is still open and you need to score.

DFB.de: You were substituted shortly before the end and watched the final minutes from the bench. How intense was that for you?

Darvich: Very much (laughs). It was probably just as tiring as being on the pitch. You're shaking the whole time, but you have no influence on what's happening in the game. It was tiring, but in the end everything went well.

DFB.de: What was the mood like in the dressing room and on the bus ride to the hotel after the win?

Darvich: We were all very happy, listened to music together and enjoyed the victory. Just like a good team should (laughs). Back at the hotel we met at the pool and talked about the game. This also takes us further as a team.

DFB.de: Finally, let’s look ahead. Until the semi-finals on Tuesday (9.30 a.m., CET) you have one day more break than before. Does that play a major role in your mind?

Darvich: For me it is, that's important. I think it's good that we have one more day because the last few weeks have been very intense for all of us.

-06 CF Brunner mentioned in Dortmund General meeting between Brass+fans today.

"Great talents like Paris Brunner are also mentioned. This is greeted with applause."

so much potential and skill, LOL and such an onslaught really should have been double digits for Stuttgart II. A bunch of kids destroying a team of adults............we are still waiting on integration at this club. I presume that when players leave in Summer that the youth will get promoted. Still a huge waste of a club.

just imagine Stuttgart II played this.
    Paula---------------Kastanaras------------Raimund
    ----------------------------Egloff--------------------
    ---------------di Benedetto---------Ulrich----------------
    Azevedo---------Herwerth----------Fritschi----------Hoppe
    ------------------------------Seimen---------------------------

so far its not far off from that with 7/11 being this, just missing Azevedo, Fritschi, Herwerth, Raimund.

although players like Egloff, Kastanaras, Hoppe need to be playing pro, RL=waste of time.

to this day I don't get the logic of some clubs. Dortmund prioritze U19 over II/3rd Liga never made a lick of sense and now we see Stuttgart doing same, why is Raimund so close to 1st team but still in U19???? Should be playing vs adults its better prep for 1BL than garbage U19.....

-Kicker XI of 3rd Liga=02 CB Gottlicher

-Stuttgart's Ito is out until Winter break, chance for 04 CB/LB Reichardt???

    -Germany u17 coach Wuck
    Christian Wück about...
... the World Cup semi-finals: We are all very happy that we made it to the semi-finals. This is a unique experience for the boys. But we don't want to stand still, we want to continue on the path and use our chance to get to the World Cup final. We are looking forward to the game, the stadium and the spectators. This will be a nice spectacle for the boys. We are excited to see whether we can bring our performance onto the pitch.

... the tactic: We shouldn't change anything big. Although we didn't have much possession, we also didn't allow much and we deserved to win against technically strong Spaniards. We have to move away from the idea of possession of the ball. We need to talk more about effectiveness again in Germany. We are on the right track there. We know what the Argentinians' strengths are and they also know what our strengths are. Both camps will have to come up with something for the semi-finals.

... the team's outstanding mentality: It's very important that we set an example for this as a coaching team. We have been working with the cohort for almost three years and are proud of their journey. Many people in Germany long for this mentality. We generally have to return to our German mentality with great will, for which we were always feared abroad. That's where we wanted to take the boys, and I think we succeeded.

... possible pressure: Reaching the semi-finals creates exactly the opposite: no German U17 team has ever been world champion. That is our big goal. As European champions, we wanted to stay in the tournament as long as possible. The semi-final is a huge opportunity for the boys. We will go into the game with 100 percent and then our form on the day will decide.

... the hardships of traveling: I don't think it's bad that we get to see something of the country. We have now been to many places. All stadiums were beautiful and suitable for the tournament. I find the strain of travel bearable. This way we won't get bored in the hotel.

-03 CF Naderi signs pro contract at 1BL Gladbach, interesting as Gladbach only loan out pro contract players.

U23: BORUSSIA PROVIDES RYAN NADERI WITH A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACT UNTIL 2027
Borussia Mönchengladbach has extended the contract with U23 striker Ryan Naderi until June 30, 2027. The 20-year-old also received his first professional contract with the Foals.

“Ryan has developed very well with us over the past two and a half years. He has an exciting profile as a striker and we are pleased that he wants to continue his path with us in the long term,” says Mirko Sandmöller, Borussia’s director of the youth development center. “Now it’s important to push Ryan’s development forward together so that he can recommend himself for the licensed team.”

Naderi started playing football at Soccer for Kids Dresden and moved to the youth department of Dynamo Dresden in 2015, where he received football training in the following years. For the 2021/22 season, the 1.93 meter tall striker came to the Lower Rhine, where he initially moved into a room in the FohlenStall, Borussia's youth boarding school. In his first season with the Fohlen's U19 team, Naderi played 15 A-Junior Bundesliga games in which he scored four goals. He also celebrated his debut in the Regionalliga West for Borussia's U23 on matchday 22.

For the 2022/23 season, the striker with Czech roots moved up to the U23 and made 19 appearances in which he scored three goals. In the current season, Naderi was always in the starting line-up in the first eleven regional league games and scored four goals. However, he then tore a lateral ligament in his ankle, which has kept the attacker out ever since.

“I felt very comfortable at Borussia right from the start. It's even nicer to have signed my first professional contract here. This is another step on my journey, but definitely not the last. I still have a lot to do,” emphasizes Naderi.

At this point can we just promote Wuck to Bundestrainer lol. He actually realises how to at least do the basics to be a contender in tournaments and make us hard to play against.

How about as a birthday gift they let him play in the first team?

Makes its stupid how Germany is usually one of the tallest and bigger teams in any competition but we for longest time wrote off these things. The agression and physicality should 100% be part of our game and fuse that with technical skills on top of it.

like who remembers when Rudiger after WC22 exit said that he and the rest of the team are too nice.....LULZ and Low says he works like a madman......yeah Rudiger already admitted otherwise. There should NOT be nice approach in any game.

when I recall WC14, the games vs Ghana, Algeria, Argentina examplified the mentality and agression approach very well. Ghana was a very tough opponent who took us to limit in terms of physicality and skills and we barely tied that match.

We are lucky that Wuck was a player from the 90s so he's very well aware of Germany from 80-90s.

    find it funny Wuck
"Many people in Germany long for this mentality. We generally have to return to our German mentality with great will, for which we were always feared abroad."

but Low says otherwise, LOL. Because Low is one who started the weak ass mentality and we started to lose the fear factor with him too.

as for Diehl, according to Baumgart, Keller, Kessler he's in exile to II and will not go anywhere near 1st team unless he signs pro contract. But its clear he's a goner.

is it safe to say that Germany and France 05-06s are the best in Europe???
-Germany vs France for 2005 Age QF in U17 Euro 2022 was seen as REAL final and France won the tourney
-Germany vs France for 2006 Age was the FINAL in U17 Euro 2023 which Germany won
-now Germany and France are only Euro teams to make SF of U17 WC 2023

LOL if we get another rematch if both of us make the U17 WC final.

also both U17 Euro deciding factor=PK shootout neither beat the other clear cut result.

Brunner to Darvich: These are Germany's key players at the U17 World Cup
German U17 stars: Paris Brunner (left) and Noah Darvich.

Germany's U17s are just one step away from the final of the World Cup in Indonesia. Before the semi-final against Argentina, the sports buzzer looks at the key players in coach Christian Wück's team.

Once again it is the German U17 national team that is helping to create the mood for the German Football Association (DFB). While the A team continued to disappoint recently, coach Christian Wück's boys traveled to the World Cup in Indonesia as European champions - and are now in the semi-finals. In the round of the last eight they defeated Spain 1-0 after a great fight. This Tuesday (9.30 a.m., Sky) Argentina is the last hurdle before the final. The last time it went this far was in 2011.

“Of course we hope that the success with this year group will give us the attention that the boys deserve,” said Wück, who is aiming for the first German World Cup title in this age group, at the press conference on Monday. Who has attracted the most attention in Germany's U17 team?

The Sportbuzzer, the sports portal of the editorial network Germany (RND), gives an overview:
    Paris Brunner
The top talent from Borussia Dortmund's U19 was the match winner with his goal from a (self-taken) penalty against Spain and now has three scorer points. He was already strong at the European Championships (four goals). Brunner can play at the front center and on the wing. Briefly suspended from BVB in the fall for indiscipline, he impresses at the World Cup with full focus and is now making a title announcement: “We want to be the best.”

    Noah Darvich
Before the season, the midfielder from SC Freiburg's youth team went to FC Barcelona, but so far he has only made short appearances in the second team (third Spanish league). In the DFB team, Darvich leads the way as captain (one goal, three assists), impresses with his dribbling skills and a lot of creativity. “He is an incredibly open guy,” said his former Freiburg coach Bernhard Weis to SWR. “You could also see this joy in the game, where he sometimes does something special.” The left-footer is probably the furthest along in his development.

    Max Moerstedt
In the U19 Bundesliga South/Southwest, no one is as accurate as the goalgetter from TSG Hoffenheim. Moerstedt has ten goals after twelve match days. The 1.94 meter tall center forward has scored three goals at the World Cup so far. The TSG young player is the number nine that the DFB is urgently looking for; he can secure the balls as a wall player and finish himself.

    Eric Emanuel da Silva Moreira
The FC St. Pauli winger is one of the discoveries of the tournament. In the German team, da Silva Moreira is used as a right-back. Especially in the hard-fought round of 16 against the USA (3:2), he was convincing as a driver who, in addition to his defensive tasks, stimulated the forward movement - the Hamburg player initiated the important 2:1. Thanks to his pace, da Silva Moreira is a key player for Germany's U17s, one that hardly anyone would have expected before the World Cup.

    Success even without Ouédraogo
With Assan Ouédraogo, the DFB boys are even missing an important key player. The lightning-fast offensive player from the struggling second division club FC Schalke 04 came to Indonesia already ailing, eventually suffered a torn syndesmotic ligament in the second group game against New Zealand (3-1) and left. According to the data portal transfermarkt.de, Ouédraogo is the most valuable player of all World Cup participants with a market value of six million euros. But even without the S04 youngster, the German team made it to the semi-finals. If Wück's team manages their sixth win in the sixth game, there could be a duel with France in the final, as in the European Championship final, which will face Mali in the second semi-final this Tuesday (1 p.m.).

it was coming, 03 M Jander who is XI in 3rd Liga Duisburg and is performing is linked with trio of 2BL clubs. Its interesting to note that HSV and Kiel=1BL promotion candidates.

also interesting to see how players like him and 04 M Hansen (regular at 2BL Paderborn) both had 0 prospects at 2BL Schalke and both making way into pros.......

wonder if 05 M Gruger will join them in bailing or end up with 2BL Schalke 1st? One would think if 06 M Ouedraogo bails from Schalke in Summer that his spot could open up for Gruger......

Holstein Kiel: Three-way battle with HSV and Nuremberg for Caspar Jander?
Midfield talent from MSV Duisburg on a free transfer in the summer

After 14 match days, Holstein Kiel is in third place in the 2nd Bundesliga table with a strong 26 points, although a major change took place in the summer and important players such as Hauke Wahl (FC St. Pauli), Fabian Reese (Hertha BSC) and Fin Bartels ( End of professional career) left the club.

In the summer transfer market, those responsible around outgoing managing director Uwe Stöver showed an excellent hand, so that the storks are not only third, but also have one of the youngest squads in the league that offers plenty of prospects. And one can assume that Kiel's philosophy will not change in the foreseeable future, placing particular emphasis on talented players from abroad or from lower leagues, as scouting in the Bavarian Regional League shows, for example.

A specific desired player for the new season seems to have already been identified. According to a current report from “Sky”, Holstein Kiel, as well as Hamburger SV and 1. FC Nürnberg, are said to be courting Caspar Jander, whose contract with MSV Duisburg is expiring and who will probably be in the 3rd league after this season regardless of whether the Zebras stay in the league will take the next career step.

Development of Rothe and Co. as an argument for the storks?
The central midfielder, who has played six games for the German U20 team so far, was trained at Preußen Münster, Borussia Dortmund and FC Schalke 04 before making his breakthrough at MSV Duisburg in the summer of 2021. After 39 appearances with one goal and five assists, Jander has 15 games with one goal and two assists in the current season. Even if these odds seem to be expandable, the youngster is one of the MSV's few bright spots in a season that has so far been disastrous and at the same time a beacon of hope that the traditional club can still avoid falling into the regional league.

Jander himself doesn't have to worry about his future and should play at least second division in 2024/25. In view of the positive development that several young players such as Collin Kleine-Bekel, Tom Rothe and, after some initial time, Fiete Arp have taken in Kiel, the storks should not have the worst cards in their courting of the 20-year-old.

HT we trail 2-1. Brunner scored the early goal but Argentina look dangerous. It's a shame we are missing players such as Ouédraogo, Herrmann and also Schmitt (out due to illness that has swept through the camp) plus others like Dal & Kabar have not been fully fit during this tournament either.

That being said it's still a very close match and we missed a good chance to go in front just before Argentina made it 2-1 in first half injury time, so still lots to play for.

1st U17 WC final for Germany since 1985 and we've never won it either.

chance to claim a 1st time trophy, also fact that now guarantee we win a WC medal even if we lose final.
