I mean even here in liberal Canada the French team is often mocked for having no French players. I’m sure it’s the same in other countries.

So you are telling me that If Germany fielded an entire squad with not a single German name it wouldn’t make the slightest difference to you?

you seem too into patriarchy as if the mother doesn't matter. Those same people would make a fit even if you have a German name and your black or Asian or whatever. Why so hung up on names, who cares.

what do you think Rudiger, Kehrer, Henrichs etc are. People will complain that they are African descent even with German name.

told you don't give a rat's ass what a person looks like or name. All I care about is people who identify with NT and who would fight to last second. That's it.

people are never happy back in day people called
Boateng, Khedira, Klose, Gomez, Aogo, etc as immigrants when bashing Germany even when they all have German parents. Klose gets called Pole even if his father is ethnic German

like nobody seems able to grasp simple concept of duality.

people will always find something to complain about.
Now its German-Africans even if almost all in NT have 1 German parents.

if your not happy just stop following the team because that is future. Complaining about it is pointless and irrelevant. Its not for you to decide who plays where.

Like its becoming ridicoulous to complain.
"Like how dare you who is born and lived your whole life play for Germany. I don't give a shit if you only have ties to Germany. You shouldn't play for us if you don't have German name."

I mean that sounds stupid, let's be honest.

its ironic that you complain about wanting German names and is fine with Wanner yet Wanner is same kid who is threatning to leave, lol. We see more loyalty from duals with no German name than ones who are Germans.

DFB head of youth SHAT on Wanner for how he's flip flopping and how he's not showing loyalty That they want players who identify for team, that he hopes he plays for Germany but his attitude is wrong.

anyways enough with this topic lets' move on. Its clear we won't agree. And I'm not here to convince anyone of anything, to each his own.

It’s crazy how it’s truly all the same to you. For me its. more then just citizen papers. It’s culture and ancestry. Ijust don’t get how you could be so upset at Rangnick for stealing players with that mindset.

because I never once gave a shit about what a person looks like. For me, I'm more into character and personality. An A-Hole is an A-Hole, it doesn't matter where they came from or what they look like, lol. I've made friends from all sorts of descent.

ancestry? Even Oliver Kahn has Latvian descent. Ballack's surname is of Sorbian origin.

Bobic might become DFB replacement for Bierhoff is someone who's parents immigrated from Yugoslavia when he was a few months old.

why do you care so much about ancestry but not give a shit about what someone considers home?

take Bobic you think he's has attachement to Yugoslavia which doesn't exist anymore or will he see Germany as his home?

in all your posts you seem to not care for a second about the fact that all these players see Germany as home. They almost all still live in Germany, lol.

Culture? A culture is easy to pick up and thats truth. I've met once Caucasian people obsessed with Korean tv shows, learned Korean, cooks Korean food, etc. That stuff can be picked up by anyone. Same for someone who immigrates to another country can FULLY immerse themselves into another culture.

you make it seem like duals have 0 German culture and are 100% foreign, uh, Some duals have 0, repeat 0 ties to non-German roots.

    imagine complaining about duals
-when U21 coach Di Salvo=2/2 parents Italian
-when Bobic might take Bierhoff job at DFB
-when Chatzialexiou., director of footy at DFB is German-Greek
-You remember Cacau, he too works for dfb.

your complaining when DFB itself has dual.

also your not making sense so its more then paper for you
BUT YOU DON'T GIVE 2 SHITS ABOUT WHAT ANY PLAYERS THINK OR HOW ANY OF THEM FEEL OR HOW ANY OF THEM IDENTIFY WITH.

your just judging based on duality and names.

ignore paperwork you don't care about any of these players.

gave you a Thiaw example and you don't care that he ONLY sees himself as German. And rejected Senegal-Finland. But if it's up to you he's not allowed to play for Germany.

what is ancestry anyways. Reality is everyone has descent from somewhere. Janni Serra has distant Italian descent. Was said Arp has distant Swedish descent and list goes on and on.

at some point that is disatnt because your family has been in Germany for a long time. Ozil-Gundo are 3rd Generation German-Turks. At one point does one see them as German, never???? Same for Podolski, his granparents were German citizens that is why he got German passport, so always had Germany links too and moved to Germany as 2 y/o.

Rangnick is an A-Hole and he always was one. Been shitting on him since his RB Leipzig days. Prime definition of a dick. He never cared about German players either, he's one of main reason Leipzig mostly avoids Germans too. He's a shit coach better inovator.

There are other examples of big name former German internationals in the past that had a German name but had mixed backgrounds, for example Mehmet Scholl and Felix Magath had Turkish and Puerto Rican fathers respectively but for different reasons took on their mothers surname. This is nothing new, and given how Germany has a pretty large multi cultural population nowadays you are gonna get a lot of duals.

-02 LB Dietrich, 02 RB Rosenboom and 01 M Berger training with Bremen 1st team. Really would like to see Rosenboom breakthrough Bremen 1st as 02-03s needs RBs in 1BL-2BL soon.

-02 M Breithaupt seems like hot candidate for Gladbach
    https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/...lent-war-schon-in-gladbach-82129332.bild.html

-looks like both 02 W Knauff and 04 M Wenig should be fit again soon.
But Knauff started again with easy running training. The BVB loan will complete an individual program in the coming weeks. In order to be fit in time for the start of the new year!
Coach Oliver Glasner (48): "The plan is that all players fly to the training camp in Dubai."

Good news also from Marcel Wenig (18): After breaking his metatarsal, the midfield jewel has started rehab. There is also some hope that he will get fit in time for the trip to Dubai (until January 14th).

    -Update on 02 GK Atubolu
Atubolu a candidate as a possible replacement for Flekken
After the end of the season there could be far-reaching changes in the goalkeeper position at SC Freiburg. This would also affect young goalkeeper Noah Atubolu (20), as sporting director Klemens Hartenbach suggests.

The current situation is as follows: Atubolu proves himself with the club's U23 (3rd division), is pushing for more and was even allowed to celebrate his professional debut in the DFB Cup. Mark Flekken (29) is the regular keeper, but could change next summer if there are suitable offers from other clubs.

Hartenbach: "The probability that we will start the 2023/24 season in this constellation is rather low." For Atubolu, this could mean that he will leave the club for further development. Possibly on loan, as the specialist magazine writes. He has long aroused external interest.

Or the homegrown team will become the new number one under head coach Christian Streich.

The question arises whether the German U21 national keeper is ready for such a step. Hartenbach definitely believes Atubolu is capable of that: "For his age, he is incredibly calm and able to classify things."

It remains to be seen whether there will be a big chair move in Freiburg in the goalkeeper position. In any case, the highly talented Atubolu has good prospects as far as his sporting future is concerned - whether in Freiburg or elsewhere.

why are we with Spain wtf????

    U19 Euro Elite Round
oof back to back U19 Euros with Italy and Belgium and remember ONLY TOP OF GROUP QUALIFIES. Italy ended up as best 3rd place team that is why they are ranked badly but we don't always do well vs them anyways.

this continues to shows why we struggle in U19. Never easy groups and only #1 goes. Most will grind out results.

Our 18-year-old talents Umut #Tohumcu & Joshua #Quarshie are about to take their next development step at #TSG : The two German junior internationals are training with the pros until further notice and will also travel to the training camp at the beginning of January

Tohumcu and Quarshie train with the pros
The two talents Umut Tohumcu (18) and Joshua Quarshie (18) are about to take their next development step at TSG Hoffenheim. The two German junior internationals are training in the professional team of head coach André Breitenreiter until further notice and will also travel to the planned training camp at the beginning of January.

“Our door is always open to hungry talent from within our own ranks. Both have offered themselves through consistently good performances in the U23s and can now recommend themselves to us and take the next steps," says Breitenreiter.

In addition to multiple appointments to the professional squad, both Tohumcu and Quarshie have already had a taste of the Bundesliga. Umut Tohumcu made his Bundesliga debut on Matchday 34 of last season in an away game in Mönchengladbach. Joshua Quarshie's premiere in the House of Lords was only four weeks ago. He came on as a substitute for the first time in the Bundesliga on the 15th matchday of the current season against VfL Wolfsburg in the PreZero Arena.

"That's TSG's way - we continue to consistently focus on identifying talent and carefully developing it step by step through our academy," says TSG director of professional football, Alexander Rosen. "Not only because of the current personnel situation one can safely assume that in the near future other young players will get their chance to show themselves to the professionals."

Umut Tohumcu has been playing for TSG Hoffenheim since the summer of 2017. There he went through all youth teams up to the U23. Joshua Quarshie has been lacing up his soccer shoes for TSG since the summer of this year, he came to the Kraichgau from Rot Weiß Essen. Like their TSG teammate Muhammed Damar, both young talents are regulars in the German U19 national team coached by Guido Streichsbier. Tohumcu is wearing his team's captain's armband in his DFB uniform.

The groups seem a little weighted, I mean in u17 you see Montenegro, Wales, Scotland & Iceland in one group whilst we end up with Spain & Turkiye and in the u19 draw you see Ireland, Greece, Estonia & Slovakia together whilst we get Belgium & Italy. Is seeding not a thing?

so will he be in 2BL next season as well as Schalke are strong relegation candidates

    00 M Flick to 2BL loan

Loan until the end of the season – Flick moves to the Valznerweiher
Florian Flick will play for 1. FC Nürnberg in the second half of the season. The 22-year-old comes from FC Schalke 04.

    1. FC Nürnberg and FC Schalke 04 have agreed on a loan from Florian Flick until the end of the current season, subject to the medical examination. The defensive midfielder was trained at Waldhof Mannheim in his youth before moving to Gelsenkirchen two and a half years ago. Born in Mannheim, he managed to recommend himself to the pros via the second team and signed his professional contract with S04 a year later. The 22-year-old has played once for the German U21 national team.

Dieter Hecking, Sport Board Member at 1. FC Nürnberg: “With the loan of Florian Flick, we have broadened our defense for the second half of the season. We are delighted that he has chosen us and is going into an ambitious second half of the season with us.”

FCN sporting director Olaf Rebbe is looking forward to a player who “is no stranger to the club. Florian was in conversation with us even before his move to Schalke. We are getting an ambitious defensive specialist who can be used in the midfield, in the double six, or as a central defender.”
Florian Flick has played twelve times in the Bundesliga so far, in Schalke's second division season, which they crowned with the championship at the end, he was on the pitch in 27 games.

"Of course it's my goal to be on the pitch as often as possible at FCN in the second half of the season. In order to achieve that, I will step on the gas in the preparation. I'm looking forward to getting to know the team and the staff and above all, of course, to supporting the team in the last half of the season," said Flick.

    LET's GO!!!!!!!!

From January, the next Mainz top talent will be training with the pros
Gruda on the trail of Barreiro and Co.

The NLZ of Mainz 05 is one of the leading in Germany. In the training camp, the next young players knock on the door of the pros. Brajan Gruda is scheduled to train regularly with the Bundesliga team from January.

"It was a very young squad," says Leandro Barreiro, who is only 22 years old but has made 92 Bundesliga appearances. When the Luxembourg international, who has played for the 05s for more than six years, came on as a substitute against fourth division side RCD Mallorca B in the 61st minute, the score was 0-1 before Brajan Gruda, Barreiro and David Mamutovic turned the game around. The 3-1 win was well deserved. While the team struggled in the first half, after the change of sides, the FSV talents in particular, supported by veteran Dominik Kohr, built up a lot of pressure. Particularly striking: offensive man Gruda. Coach Bo Svensson and sporting director Martin Schmidt rave about the 18-year-old, who recently signed a long-term professional contract. From January he will train regularly with the pros.

    Svensson convinced by Gruda
"You saw why against Mallorca B," notes Svensson. According to the 05 head coach, DFB junior national player Gruda brings "all the components with him: pace, athleticism, understanding of the game and mentality". In addition, Gruda is aware that there is still a lot more to come, as is usual with young players. Svensson is convinced that the teenager "is able to set offensive accents". Gruda has already taken part in a number of training sessions with the professionals, and it is striking that he no longer looks like a U-19 player. It was the same in the test match. "He has to be with us as soon as possible and we'll do that too," says the 05 head coach.

At the beginning of 2023, Gruda will occupy the second top talent spot among the professionals. Nelson Weiper has been with us since the start of the season. The 17-year-old made his Bundesliga debut in the first half of the season, but is absent from the training camp to prepare for his Abitur. "Nelson and Brajan are two really good players. We intend for them to play in the Bundesliga for Mainz 05," emphasizes Svensson, adding: "We all know that we have a U-19 team with special talents, but it's not enough , just to dominate the U-19 league. They have to take the next step and we have to help them with that. Both of them have long-term contracts with us."

Gruda is same kid who dribbled with ease past 2-3 Spanish and Portuguese player. Vs both looked like most interesting technical player on field too. Really slick and technical kid. Gonna be fun seeing how he develops. And they are right, Mainz is full of talents.

04-05s already looking like they are starting to knock hard on pro door too.

What I like with Gruda is that along with his good dribbling/technique, although he is primarily left footed he can also shoot well with his right, I’ve seen footage of him scoring well taken different types of finishes on both sides, that’s a useful attribute to have.

Will be nice in the future to see more dribblers, right now Musiala stands out a lot as the only NT player prepared to dribble, and you get people (inc Flick) talking shit about how it’s because he’s English trained and we don’t train players like him, ignoring the fact that is not the case anymore by any stretch.

we have more dribblers once you go 01-onwards. One sees more street dribblers too which Gruda is one of them. But the potential for more is clearly there if Germany would just fully support it.

that's BS Musiala was said to be one that dribbles left and right even when he was 6-7 y/o playing in Germany. And when he arrived in England he did the same vs older kids.

more like England enhanced what was already there.

issue with Germany is that they always ignore all who haven't brokethrough or fully as if they don't exist when they complain about something.

Interesting to see CBs on rise, ignore Hoti not German. I think Rosenfelder would have been one if not for always injuries.

The market value update in the 3rd division is primarily focused on central defender talent. Jamil Siebert (20), Leandro Morgalla (18), Kenneth Schmidt (20) and Andi Hoti (19) are four of the top five winners in Transfermarkt's latest update.

Viktoria Cologne's loan player Siebert recorded the clearest plus, whose value doubled to 700,000 euros. According to his advisor, AS Roma and Nottingham Forest have already inquired about the U20 national player. In the event of a change, the regular club Fortuna Düsseldorf, with which Siebert is still contractually bound until 2025, beckons a decent fee.

To the third division forums1860 Munich's Morgalla (+300,000 euros) breaks the one million euro mark and is now, together with Dortmund's Soumaïla Coulibaly (19), the most valuable central defender in the 3rd division. "Even at the age of 18, the defense headquarters of 1860 would be unimaginable without him. The U19 national player has all-round strong abilities, is fast, good in tackles, has a courageous opening and good positional play. Rumors of interest from various Bundesliga clubs are piling up, including Werder, Gladbach and Frankfurt. A transfer fee of millions seems inevitable, which is why Morgalla is joining the elite club of third division players with a market value in the millions," explains market value admin Johannes Netzer

For Schmidt and Hoti from SC Freiburg II, it's up 250,000 euros to 750,000 euros and 600,000 euros respectively. Together, the two are largely responsible for the fact that the second team from Breisgau has had a strong season and has one of the best defenses in the league. The fifth-placed team has conceded 19 goals after 17 games, which is only beaten by three teams in the league.

Active in front of the duo in midfield is Robert Wagner (19), who also made significant gains and is now valued at EUR 900.00 (+ EUR 300,000). The U20 international, who was awarded the Fritz Walter Bronze Medal, made his Bundesliga and Europa League debuts this season, playing 90 minutes against Qarabağ.
    https://www.transfermarkt.de/marktw...h-braaf-mit-2-minus-in-folge/view/news/414791

so much for overhype from Dortmund fans
BVB youngster Braaf with the biggest minus
Meanwhile, a youngster from Borussia Dortmund II has fallen the most. Jayden Braaf (20) has been devalued for the second time in a row and is now down EUR 500,000 at EUR 1 million. "The striker has not played in a goal in seven third division appearances. In addition, he was not used in the last games before the winter break. After his long knee injury, which prevented him from April 2021 to August 2022, he can no longer repeat his performances from before, when he was considered a great up-and-coming talent," explains Netzer.

A Breithaupt transfer would make perfect sense for Gladbach: Kramer (who will soon be extending his contract again) is in the autumn of his career. Julian Weigl (27) is only on loan, a possible transfer (Benfica Lisbon is hoping for a double-digit million amount) for Borussia is unlikely to be able to handle. And Manu Koné (20), despite a contract until 2025, is about to leave for a top European club in the summer.

is whole dev/sell really worth it? So Frenchie Kone bailing after 2 seasons. This is why 1BL is parody, how clubs are okay to playing Stepping stone. A club like Gladbach should be aiming higher than this type of shit.

hope if Breithaupt moves there, I also hope that Rocco Reitz gets chance come Summer 2023 MAX. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a Winter loan candidate.
