Weren't you advocating for Kuntz to replace Jogi?

Maybe the DFB are using Mourinho's tactics. By criticizing them, they are trying to motivate them.

and there is more from Koln too, a lot more. Funny thing is everyone says the Koln Academy is outdated too.

it has never been doom and gloom if one takes the best German players from all age groups. But dfb never does that and bases it all on youth NT results based on their squad seletions were players are left out too. They legit think its doomsday for Germany like 2026-onwards. As if one will promote like 10+ players per age group to Seniors instead of the best possible players regardless of age groups

USED too, less and less so in 2020 then Kuntz showed himself to be such an A-Hole and his tactics for this cycle have been rubbish too. Way too much stupidity on his part and he always tries to remind everyone that its because the age groups are terrrrrrrrible. Just sounds more and more like someone , who wants to keep his job and has an excuse ready for every failure

point blank no one who shits on his players should be coach.
what dfb does is not criticizing its shitting.

97-Kastenmeier is FD #1. If F.Muller is also made Freiburg #1 than Germany have at least 2 U23 GKs #1 in 1BL-2BL.

lol so 1BL is finally interested in loaning cf but he happens not to play fo Germany in Kutucu. Has been linked with AB, Union, and Hoff. AB should integrate S.Muller while Hoff Beier.

With FC Bayern II playing on Saturday, I do wonder if a couple versatile offensive players (Tillman? Kühn? Dajaku? Musiala?) might find themselves on the bench for the first team on Friday.

my issue with Bayern is so far their Academy is useless and Flick has done nothing. And we keep blocking player by getting bencher from Europe with Experience or player with barely any experience. Nubel, Kouassi, Cuisance were all benchers barely played. Neuhaus and Zakaria made Cuisance a bencher but Bayern goes after the bencher.

Now Bayern keeps being linked with Odoi/Pedri for W and Aaron/Dest for RB. Odoi Chelsea bencher, Pedri 1 year of experience. Worst is when Bayern is linked with loaning either one, so would rather dev player for other instead of their own. Dest only one year of experience and for a fullback he's poor defender. He also got chance due to injury to another and has been back on the bench and made ton of mistakes too. Aaron only 1 season in EPL.

this club is starting to block their own player with young players....who either barely play or are bencher. Do we scout bencher and poorly experienced player instead of giving Academy chance?

make you wonder if all young player at Bayern will come from outside?

-Schonfelder will start in II and eventually after awhile will train with 1st team again. Spent entire preseaon injured......These players always waste chances due to injury.

    -Kother extends until 2024.

I think Bayern issue is that Flick doesn't see any Academy player as legit option not even for bench all he sees these players for is back up status. Back up=only get chance on bench when other are out..........the farcal 1st chance from last season or training don't change anything.

Exactly, it only needs 1-3 elite talents at most per age group and you have a very strong NT.

Take the last two World Cup squads for example.
    2014: age groups range 78-94
    2018: age groups range 84-96

You don't need every age group to be special over a 10-15 year period.

fact is no country in the world has good age group for every single year but every single year their are talent worthy in their even in not so great age groups. One doesnt judge a player based on year of birth anyway. You don't promote the entire youth team to the seniors too.

current Germany's core is 95-96, these guys aren't going anywhere and then the surrounding age groups make up the rest.

I see 02-05 eventually becoming next core with 98-01 making up rest.

I suppose at least he can score PKs, not a trait shared by all youth NT players lol.

or even Seniors remember that disagrace in 2016 Euro vs Italy?

I keep saying we are lacking Ballack like players/mentality for PKs. That guy had this cold/ruthless when it came to PKs. When I see Ballack is taking a PK he oozes confidence all the modern players make you nervous...lol

but Nmecha needs to to better if he really wants to establish hiself in top 4 league. He's getting chance after chance and not doing much. Needs to hit double digits in his Belgium loan at the min. 1 down 9 to go.......

-00 GK V.Muller going to PSV? Seems like he could POTENTIALLY (just to be clear) end up #1 in 2021 though since Mvogo is only on loan from Leipzig and Unnerstall is likely not long term #1.Seems like Muller could be PSV II in Dutch 2nd division #1 if he moves there.
    https://www.liga-zwei.de/wuerzburger-kickers-vincent-mueller-vor-wechsel/

-00 Keitel was subbed out early during dfb cup due to muscle issues and now seems wait and see if fully fit. Also on 99-Boulhalfa (made pro debut playing 46st min in dfb cup) and 99-Tempelmann.

#Streich : "With Yannik #Keitel it got better muscularly. If he's pain-free tomorrow, he'll be an option. We have to wait and make an emotional decision. #Boukhalfa , #Abrashi , #Tempelmann - you have to choose one, not against one. "

although what I dont like is integration seems questionable in every German club. Freiburg got some Frenchie midfielder and linked with Bosnian Krunic from Milan. So does that mean that Keitel, Tempelmann and Boukhalfa will be nothing but back up status?

I think that's one main issue of German football. Tooooo many clubs ONLY see Academy players=back ups. And instead they buy players......

-so Dortmund is loaning out Dutch Pherai to Eredivisie. So why do soooo many players go to German clubs just to end up loaned back to their home country. Like just breakthrough there instead......Gomez goes to Dortmund just to end up 2 consecutive Spanish loans, lol, so dumb.

also how come Gomez and Pherai get loaned out early but guys like Raschl was made to waste time in II for an entire season last season? LIke 1st season post U19 one goes Eredivisie loan and the other went RL.

Currently unfit but nothing serious, I'm curious to see how Dortmund plans with Raschl. Also loan? Back up status for 2 consecutive seasons?

dfb might not like it but who gives a shit anyways. But we'll see more and more Germans end up in Eredivisie,Belgium,Austria etc. 1BL is just too obsessed with buying and back up status.

eh who cares players who do well in those leagues could easily end up in top 4 after 1-2 years of pro experience. Its legit better than 2BL-RL.

I'm also sure that dfb doomsday mode is also based on 1BL obsession too. But if players end up in top 4 in Europe.....does it......********ing......matter? And blame your shitting laughable restrictions that are easy to go around.

Globolization of the sport (lame) as made it that players are all over the place for any country. Doesnt help that 1BL has barely any restrictions. In past there were ton more Germans because there was less foreign players but that hasn't been the case for years due to all the player movements happening. And also 1BL seems to love playing feeder league and going after any young players with pro experience.

    Flick (1st)

    League Cup
-Shabani was unused as EPL Wolves lost 1-0 to Stoke City. After being out for like a year, still getting 1st team chances.

    EL
-Siersleben was unused as Wolfsburg advanced to next round after 4-0 win.
-Friede was unfit but his club advanced to next round after 5-3 win in ET.

Tomorrow 1BL-U19 all return but so does Portuguese 1st division. Abouchabaka and Carls are part of squad. While Bisseck is unfit, seriouly he's had too many injuries/unfit over past 2-3 years.

Apparently Flick has notified Sven Ulreich and Alexander Nübel that they will both be in the squad for tonight's match on the bench. Perhaps one less available spot for a young player in the attack.

I mean he did the same thing at CL when he had Ulreich and Hoffmann on bench over all the youngsters. I still don't see Flick as integrating type he demands a W, CM and RB. The young players are nothing but back up that he'll avoid using as much as possible. Only way that could be different is if they don't get a new W but OBM would have stayed if he was 4th W but since hes likely 5th he went on loan instead.

Fein isn't even there, iMiaSanMia is mistaken official Bayern twitter doesnt have him. Also Alaba and Boa are unfit so absent so yeah otherwise there would be no room for any chances. Even if Fein made the bench he would likely end up unused.

and of course the only German Flick is interested in Musiala doesnt play for dfb...

Surprised to see him in the starting XI but Passlack looking decent do far.

Just lead a fast break chance, but too bad Hummels (not in his usual position at the wing) spoiled it with a bad cross.
