If the average ticket price was $15, multiply that by 3600. You get $54,000 per match. Over 19 matches you would gross $1,026,000 per season in ticket sales. One million $ sounds like a lot but after you take out players/coaches salaries, other employees, maintenance, utilities, and travel expenses that million gets eaten away very quickly. The only to make the team work with a stadium owned by the team would be selling naming rights, consessions rights, find someone to sponsor the jersey, and rent the venue out to others.
