As some of you may be aware of, local MLS side, NY metrostars, have advanced to their first ever Cup final. The U.S. Open Cup will be hld on october 15, 8 pm at Giants Stadium. It is imperative that all NY soccer/football fans attend this game, wether you are a Metrostars fan or not. please visit www.empiresc.com and www.metrostars.com for more info. I know there are a few folk who are fans of both Liverpool and the Metrostars, but it is really important that ALL soccer fans attend the game. Great football doesn't just have to exist in Europe/South America anymore! Plus there will be a massive pub party at Nathan's Hales pub in the hours leading up to the game!
Few things are worse than having to root for Chicago in a Cup final. Rooting for the Metros is one of them. Attn. mods: Shouldn't this be merged with the "LFC fans MLS" thread?
I hope you get more than the 5000 there the day DCU beat you in the league and 50 of us out sang the whole stadium!! Like Lanky I'm afraid the lesser evil is to hope the Fire wins.
