Attendance: Week 23 What the heck... since noone has started this yet.... Last weekend in August and it looks as though we are on record pace this year (for August): Flame away: Wednesday- Colorado at New England Saturday- MetroStars at Los Angeles New England at Columbus San Jose at D.C. United Chicago at Kansas City Sunday- Dallas At Colorado
Wednesday- Colorado at New England------13500 Poor NE fans glimer of hope as they thought the lights blew out on Paul Reveres ride last week. Saturday- MetroStars at Los Angeles----16900 New England at Columbus-----21000 could be a huge game for both teams as the Revolution could close the gap significantly if they can pull off three in a row. San Jose at D.C. United------ 21000 Chicago at Kansas City------- 11200 Sunday- Dallas At Colorado------------ 16500
Even with LD coming, we'll be lucky to break 15k here. The team is crap, nobody but the hardcore fans want to come. And we don't really, its just an obligation.
With College football gettig into the swing this weekend and NFL as well, I don't think a Baseball Strike will have that much of an effect on what goes on this weekend putting fannies in the seats. :-(
you do realize that week 23 is over and week 24 is about to begin... right??? that's why there is another thead with well over 100 posts in it already with the exact same title as this thread
wtf are you talking about??? the camera side was EMPTY, no posts were there... it was ************ign pathetic
Re: Attendance: Week 24 OK, now that we know this is the Week 24 thread, it's time to get serious: 1,776 I-10,405 Take the number of brats sold and divide by two. [Geordie accent] "I'm telling you, we had more people than that! We had more people than hippies lined up for the pot concession at Woodstock!" [/Geordie accent] Pi. 63-1/8. OK, you can tell I don't take attendance threads too seriously.
Re: Re: Attendance: Week 24 1,776???? MOVE NEW ENGLAND NOW! I DON'T CARE IF THAT WAS A JOKE FIGURE ALLUDING TO THE YEAR OF THE FOUNDING OF THIS GREAT COUNTRY OF OURS, MOVE THEM NOW-- TO Miami to play on their beautiful stadium.
Re: Re: Attendance: Week 24 This is hilarious. Honestly, here's a new idea of a game show: "Did Ray Say It?" Give each contestant four quotes. Three of them were actually uttered by Ray. The fourth sounds like it was, but actually wasn't. The contestants have to guess which one is the bogus quote. I tell you, it'll be bigger than Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
this could be a possible sell-out, standing room only crowd, with a nice day and evening of weather in columbus... they are promoting the heck out of it...
Wednesday- Colorado at New England 13,665 Saturday- MetroStars at Los Angeles 14,543 New England at Columbus 18,778 San Jose at D.C. United 10,221 Chicago at Kansas City 5,090 Sunday- Dallas At Colorado 10,234
It is (up to that few digits) but see, 3.14161 is a little MORE than pi. (Sigh, if you've got to explain a joke then it just wasn't funny in the first place...)
How ironic would it be if New England was the ONLY team to win three in a row this year, but then goes on to miss the playoffs? Anyone? Alanis? Later, COZ
Which is why we'll see a 1/10th full Rose Bowl on the National Game... Geez, it's tape delayed til' 1am anyway, why not show a match with a few people at it?
