Interresting, becouse when you discuss astroturf in Sweden, one of the biggest pros is that it do not require any maintanance, like normal grass do?

No, it does not require the "real grass-type" maintenance but more like a home rug care ... you wash it rather than cut it.

But those fields are amazing. When the natural grass (or even combination synthetic-natural fields) pitches were all torn up in the recent NFL games, field surfaces like Momentum in Baltimore http://www.baltimoreravens.com/temp...&section=press&content_id=2324&section_id=105 looked perfect, even in the middle of winter.
