So, the biggest piece of news, aside from Bilbao getting healthy against Tenerife, was the brawl after the Europa game against Anderlecht on Thursday. There are numerous videos showing a Bilbao fan pissing on Anderlecht fans and a fight on the field. I have been to more Bilbao games than I can remember, and I remember very few instances of hostility, none of them escalating to this level. The club and city must take some blame and the Bilbao fans involved should be banned for a long time, but frankly this comes down to a group of away fans hell bent on causing problems. Disgusting.
