I'm not sure I'd call it that fantastically great pass. But it is good. Just being alert, in that position you can see where Salah is, and you know that he is fast.... A good passer should be able to do that, but in Jones + column, I think he played it with his weaker foot..... great goal in any case....
Salah is a better footballer than Michael Owen, but he ain't Michael Owen. That breakaway near the end would have been a goal with little Mikey...
Hell, the list of players have to played well against us is a long one. Mignolet played a couple blinders for a bad Sunderland team. That Charlie Adam lad had a good game against us despite getting relegated. It's not like we went out and bought them all...

I didn't think it had bounced, but I couldn't quite figure why it stayed so close to the running player. Back in the day I would have tried to touch it, you know, inside dead-foot it past the keeper, but it would have run on quite a bit (a lot) more than that. Jota's got real skill..... phew....
Our Dec 9 game vs the Midgets is in question due to the UK's travel ban on visitors from Denmark. The elite sports exception has been removed.
I do not think it can be played in a neutral venue, because LFC would have to quarantine 10-14 days after being in contact with the Danish players regardless of where the game is played. I certainly hope that we wrap up the group by then and forfeit it if nothing in Denmark changes. The health of the players' matters.
Even if we have qualified, in practice that could still be problematic if it affects who comes third (and goes into EL).
