I'm glad somebody's saying it. If he goes in January and isn't replaced with quality, we're screwed.

Fact is it's not his natural position, he should be in CM with Song holding the midfield together allowing Song to drive forward with his pace and support the wingers and strikers. Bendtner should come on for Denilson and partner RVP up front and in the second half Ramsay should come on for Song late on and maybe Vela or JFW for one of the wingers to give us that creativity.

Song's fifth. One-match ban in order. Perfect.

Unwise challenge by Song. We don't need stupid stuff 25 minutes into this match. Our boys need to quit playing scared of Aston 'effing Villa.

Prediction - Song will be sent off.

This is an ugly game. Best case scenario appears to be a draw.

I'm not sure what Diaby's natural position is. I know winger isn't it. He always seemed a little but like a "tweener" a guy who doesn't quite fit into one natural position.

Hell, no. We're capable of winning this match - a point does nothing to the gap between us and their 4th place spot.

We are the mighty Arsenal, and we go to Villa Park on boxing day dreaming of a draw. How we have fallen.

I am sad. Come on you young Gooners, make me happy once more!!!

I think Walcott is more important to thwe team because with him and Nasri we are able to strecth the field on the flanks and since Walcott went down we have not been the same.
Even with that said i want Cesc back as well

    From the Guardian MbM:

"29 min Villa's fans, who have been peculiarly quiet so far given the potential uprising in front of them, find their voice to inform one of the greatest managers in football history, a thoroughly decent man and a visionary who has genuinely revolutionised the English game, that he is inclined towards acts of self-love."

It's ridiculous to say, but I'd much rather see this in this game:

    --------- Vela ---- van Persie
    Nasri --- Denilson -- Wilshere -- Eboue

I know Vela and Wilshere are really too young and inexperienced , but – well, what else do we have?

    Surprise me, Diaby.
