After a great point in Alvalade ( Sporting 0-0 Naval), the Figueirenses lose at home. Naval 0-2 U. Leiria.

 

Naval are mathematically alive, but in order to stay in the SL for 2006/07, the following needs to happen:

1. Naval must beat Penafiel; and
2. Gil Vicente must not beat Belenenses.

OR

1. Naval ties against Penafiel;
2. Gil Vicente loses to Belenenses;
3. Rio Ave beats Leiria; and
4. Guimarães beats Amadora.

They have some possibilities, but still need help from other clubs, namely Belenenses...

The locals went on the chase of a equalizer from minute 1, when Paulo Cesar scored for União. The goals came in the second half , first by Saulo and then Orestes completed the turn around in the score line.

 

This last victory broke the sequence of 7 straight games without having a win for the club from Figueira da Foz.
