Arsenal will face Manchester United at Emirates Stadium, in London, at 30th Round of English Premier League. Arsenal against Manchester United is always the match with big interest after their previous matches in English Premier League. This round is very important fighting for 3rd and 4th positions in the league. Review our thoughts on this match here below.

    Arsenal
Arsenal this year is looking confident and strong, however, they do not know how to play against top clubs. At the beginning of the season they were unbeaten in 22 games in a row, however, lately, they lost their best form. Arsenal lost to Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham in last 20 matches in all competitions. All these clubs are playing for highest places in Premier League, so Arsenal left at 5th position and have 1 point difference with United before the clash against them. At Emirates stadium, Gunners lost only once this season, and have a winning streak of 8 matches in a row. Furthermore, Arsenal continues its path in the UEFA Europa League.

Arsenal gathered great talented, young and skillful players together. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette are involved in 38 goals together. Moreover, the team has great creative players like Mkhitaryan, Ozil, and Ramsey (although, he is leaving to Juventus on a free transfer). All together makes a very dangerous and strong team with lots of chances for winning trophies. Unfortunately, R. Holding, H. Bellerin and D. Welbeck miss next match due to injuries, and L. Terreira suspended for the next 3 matches in PL.
Arsenal is showing strengths at finishing scoring chances, shooting from direct free kicks and attacking down the wings. However, they look weak at aerial duels, avoiding individual errors and stopping opponents from creating chances.

    Manchester United
Manchester United is looking great after all matches in Premier League and especially after their comeback against Paris SG in UEFA Champions League. They look good under Ole Solskjaer and lost only once in the first round of CL against PSG. in 12 matches of Premier League they have drawn 2 games and won all others. Most interesting, that United won 9 games away matches in a row in PL. However, they faced absents crisis and lost almost all 10 main squad players before Paris SG.

Very likely, that Manchester United will be playing one more very important match without J. Lingard, A. Sanchez, J. Mata, and A. Valencia. On the other hand A. Martial, N. Matic and P. Jones are under question but probably will join the team for the clash with Arsenal.

With every game, they surprise everyone with their play. Manchester is great at shooting from direct free kicks, creating chances through individual skill and coming back from losing positions. However, they look weak at avoiding offside, defending against attacks down the wings and stopping opponents from creating chances.

    H2H
During the last 2 seasons, Manchester United was stronger even under Mourinho, that means that now they are even stronger with Ole at the coaching position. The Red Devils won 3 of 4 matches and kicked off Arsenal from FA Cup at 1/16-Final.

United is looking very shaky, not knowing how to perform once they lose an 'upset' game. It has happened under the past few managers and I believe it will affect them again. It will be important for Olé to keep them focused and under his control if he wants to succeed.
