Me three! I thought that match a couple of years ago v. Chelski was nerve-wracking but this takes the cake. Still, we all can't be nervous now, Arsenal's just thisclose to going to a final. If I were a player I can't wait to go all out on the pitch knowing that much is on the line.

So come on now! GO GOONERS!

I just worked out something, the champions league final will be on live here on the 18th of may due to the time zones, and the 18th of may happens to be my birthday, if we get through, and take the trophy, what a birthday that will be!

Let's hope you get your wish! U.S. beat Mexico on my birthday in the 2002 world cup, and it was just an awesome feeling!

    COME ON THE GUNNERS!!!!

Campbell in for Senderos  We really need to score first. Not just because I think Sol is well dodgy and this was gonna be a tough game anyway, but, mainly so that I don't spontaneously human combust with nerves during this match!

    COME ON YOU GUNNERS!!!

    Re: Silly Shirt Question

Gotta be the redcurrant, Villareal will want their lemony fresh kit for home.

Is it true that they're called the 'yellow submarines' because they like to dive so much? :D

My joking only masks a churning stomach. This is huge. Once more into the breach, dear friends! I'm calling for 0-1 to the Arsenal, Jose Antonio to nick one on 25' and bring VR to fall apart. COME ON YOU GUNNERS!

I can't see Villareal not conceding tonight as they have to come out to get a goal. Once that happens, we're in with the pace of Henry and Reyes the major threats to them tonight.

    Re: Silly Shirt Question

Do we not still have a blue 3rd shirt? It seems wierd to wear a Highbury Commemorative shirt away from home. Maybe they have on occasion this year. I don't know.

    FWIW-
Villarreal will be fielding a simliar lineup with the following minor changes.
    GK Viera in for Barbosa
    CD Pena in for Arzo(?)
    DM Arzo may replace Tachinnardi

Aside from that it should be simliar. Saw some Arsenal fans in Vila-real on the FSWR this morning, drinking and chanting, should be a great one.

I'm going to go back to sweating buckets and biting my nails to the quick.

I couldn't sleep at all last night. Usually, that's because I'm a little boozy and the room is spinning. But not this time. I'm really freaking nervous about this little match today.

1-1 to the Arsenal. 2-1 on agg and on to Paris.

Don't know if this has been posted yet. But, Clichy will be on the bench. Good to have him back.

But really let's get one early and then just cut them up on the counter and conserve energy the rest of the night and then we can really start to dream...COME ON YOU GUNNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arsenal jerseys are out in full force all over campus today. One kid had one of the old yellow away JVC shirts on. While it looked pretty good, I opted for the redcurrant myself. Just over two hours! C'MON GUNNERS!
