And now Trossard is the latest to go in the book. And then Mikel!!! Man oh man has this ref switched gears... they are free flowing now!!

    HT 1-0

We started with an absolute bang. And it felt like maybe just maybe it could be 3-0 by HT. Alas we let Chelsea back into the game. In fact we were fortunate that they didn't equalize.

We need a 2nd goal rather badly.

We also need to make sure we don't lose anyone to suspension, now that Hooper is "in the mood"

Soooo..... ref opts to do nothing for an orange card situation and then hands out 4-5 yellows in a matter of 5-10 min just before halftime?

Mikel's was justified. Jackson's faul on Tomi ~5 mins in goes totally unpunished, but a similar - but definitely lesser - offense committed by Trossard sees yellow. Definitely inconsitent officiating.

Trossard’s is for sure a yellow, also.

Jackson’s is definitely red. Can’t believe there isn’t VAR intervention.

The aggression of Partey's passing is helping a lot of our attacks come alive. If Partey is going to be moved on that profile is needed in the squad.

Yeah, I haven't been watching him closely but he seems to be having a decent game so far.

Rice with a fantastic move. First he nicks the ball then he gets the ball back and shoots low, hard... at the keeper. Damn!

Now Havertz with a fantastic point-blank chance that somehow, somehow Ptrovic keeps out.

Apparently we need Trossard to get a chance like that. ANd he'll probably bury it.

    HAVERTZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

What a great thruball from Ode. After Big Gabby does well to wrestle the ball to start the play.

Edit: TBF I think Gabby probably committed a foul and Chelsea have a case to argue.

I'm not gonna lie..... expected Havertz to try and draw the PK there.

Insane pass from MO to open that up.

This might be a little risky but I'd think about taking off 2 of the left side: Tomi, Rice, Leo. All of them could use a breather me thinks. I'd take 3 but that might just be too risky/destabilizing.

Hmm. I don't see anything unusual there. And didn't see Big Gabby celebrating. Oh well, on a night like tonight... I. am. not. complaining.

Edit: Figured it out... Havertz... duh.
