The Bluebirds, currently 10th in the Colaship, travel to Highbury for this FA Cup 3rd round tie.

I'd like to see Quincy or Lupoli get a start, thinking Arsene will field a rather young team against the Colaship side. Hoping for a win so I have another Arsenal fixture to go to at the end of January.

    2-0 to the Arsenal.

Anyone with some info on what to expect from Cardiff City? I don't get to see them play. Star player? style of play? Stuff like that.

Is it being broadcast anywhere? Can't find any listings in NA or Europe, so it looks like Chinese torrents are my only hope. 'Tis a shame the holders aren't on TV .

Sunderland-Northwich Victoria is being streamed, but the Arsenal match isn't. How depressing is that?

Winchmore Arms has it, which means it is coming in from either a Middle Eastern station or a Swedish one (cue regular porn jokes...... ;) ). I don't know whether you guy's get those in the States, but everyone in the UK should be able to find a pub somewhere that will have those channels.

From Wenger's pre-match comments, it lloks like Henry and Campbell will be rested.

    http://www.arsenal.com/article.asp?...lid=&Title=Wenger+to+limit+changes+for+FA+Cup

Cygan is suspended for this one (thank God!). Other than that I'd expect almost a full-strength team:

    Lehmann
    Eboue-Toure-Senderos-Lauren
    Ljungberg-Fabregas-Gilberto-Pires
    Van Persie-Bergkamp

Subs: Almunia, Flamini, Reyes, Lupoli, Quincy.

I've stuck Quincy on the bench because we're running out of bodies, but I think the kid is a complete waste of time. Loads of talent, but he's been in the League Cup side for two years now and hasn't learned a single thing. Obviously Wenger sees something in him, but if it were up to me he'd be gone. Rant over.

Isn't Quincy injured? Thought he was supposed to be out for 4-6 weeks.

When should we expect to start seeing Ashley get some light duty in reserve matches?

My opinion is loan quincy out. Let him get some first team action and lets see from there.

I agree. I thought for sure that he'd be out on loan this season after he got all that hype over the summer. I think it is way too early for people to be writing him off. I agree that he lacks an end product and needs to learn to read the game but he is still young. Give him another season or two getting some time on loan and we could have a very good player. He shouldn't and won't get the 1st team time he needs with Arsenal.

It's just my impression of him. He's played pretty much every league cup game we've had in the last couple of years. He's played in the FA Cup, Champions League and even got one start in a Premiership game a while back (against Boro as I recall), but he still doesn't seem to get it. He may be young, but even Wenger's patience must be wearing a bit thin with him.

Nother reason i think he should be loaned out is so that we can see Lupoli and Bentdner get some action from the bench. Quincy had many chances to come off the bench but never really posed a threat. Loan him, give him some first team experience, and let Lupoli/Bentdner see if they can produce anything from the bench. I think its a win win situation. Lupoli scores day in and day out so i think he deserves more time in the first team to see what hes really capable of.
