Watched Arsenal defeat Spurs today. They played a great first 80 minutes of high pressure soccer. Vastly outplayed Spurs. Supposedly this is the style TFC will play. Here's hoping.
TFC does not look good. Losing to NYRB 0-2. I think the coach has got it wrong and does not know how to adjust according to conditions or personnel. Arsenal may have looked great when they played Spurs with a high pressure game. TFC does not. The problem with TFC is that they are an older team lacking pace and they play their home games in hot, humid Florida. This game may be in New York but TFC look awful. If this continues, not only Armas needs to go, but also the GM and president. The brains behind TFC's success was Tim Bezbatchenko. Guess who won the MLS Cup last season?
