Hello Mancs, A Few Arsenal Americans and others on our board are tossing around the idea of the next meet up like we did in chicago last April for this September in NYC. It would be similar to the Chicago weekend...i.e.- play a game on Saturday (probably at the indoor Chelsea Piers Facility) and watch the game at a pub on Sunday (Nevada's or whatever). Please respond here if you are interested as we try to see if we have the numbers to make this event just as good as Chicago was! Thanks, GP
Jay, Ray and I have already discussed a mini-meet up at Nevada's for this game. The more the merrier.
Go check the meet-up thread, you maniac. Will you please come to the meet? I owe you a couple beers for being mean to you.
If you come are you going to hang out with us this time or are you gonna blow us off for the boys from Ingerland again....
What? a couple of beers for lack of invitation? Sign me up! This meet up sounds like a postal workers union convention or something: *Loads uzi and starts on my route*
Haha I was just play around ! It all depends of my schedule as I am coaching pointy ball this year ! All I wanted was a sing a song Jayyyyyrrooooo !
I would but its right in the middle of college soccer adn football seasons. I play soccer and tailgate football. Preciate the invite though.
BUMP Those who are seriously interested (i.e.-more than likely) in coming to NYC for the Arse v Manure weekend please speak up!! Please let us know if you plan on participating in the phriendly on Saturday and/or watching the game at a venue TBD in manhattan on sunday. Thanks, GP
I'd love to come, but I'd have to find a cheap transportation option from Maine. Perhaps VR could come pick me up, with his wife's permission.
If I wasn't on a self-imposed joke ban, I'd advise you of the fee for this service. In truth, I will be happy to pick you up at either Port Authority (bus) or Penn Station (train) if you make the trip.
What a lovely gesture of friendship. *hugs VR* Would you happen to know the cost of a train or bus from that distance?
