    Olympics canceled
    U20 canceled.
    Copa America and Euros next?

I had plans with my couch to watch sports 12+ hours a day. There goes my summer.

Ps. But knowing Conmebol they’ll just host it without any fans. They’ll still get money from advertisers and TV money. I mean, they are still in a bubble and are in two countries. They’ll merge when teams get eliminated, so who knows, man. The NBA played their season and playoffs it in a bubble. So did the NHL.

They're pushing back publicly on the Olympics cancellation rumor now. Who knows any more.

Icardi with a goal and an assist. He’s in fine form. He needs to be considered, since Kun is always out, and Alario riding the bench. Parades was solid as well.

Romero with a goal, assist and a solid performance in the back v Milan. But I guess we’ll ride with Otamendi in the back!

Romero as well as Emi Martinez MUST be called up for the next matches. Romero must get playing time.

This will be a tragedy if not.

Seems like the mafia does not like these 2 guys in the Argentina NT?

Again, watch all Aston Villa games, Emi Martinez is the best GK in the whole league along with Alisson. I dare to say there is not a better keeper than him in the world when dealing with crosses into the box. Extremely controlled, and his defence has complete trust in him, they know that this guy won't drop a single ball.

At least he is suspended in the first game. LMQ not playing much for Fiorentina right now, maybe a brand new CB duo?

Perhaps. Scaloni made it a point that to play for the seleccion, you needed regular minutes. Otamendi has been ass in a second-rate league in Portugal. He even came out and apologized for the mistakes he’s been committing.

Managers are always scared to change the defense and GK’ers. I think Otamendi and deadweight will have to make egregious errors for them to be dropped. They have to cost us. But I hope it doesn’t have to come to that and Scaloni smartens up.

It will be interesting to see how Romero does in a back four. He has only really played in a back three since arriving in Europe.

    Palomino is awful.

Papu to Sevilla appears to be a done deal. Good move for him.

At least he got out when he did. Now, let’s just hope he doesn’t go from one club to another over the next few years.

Musacchio has joined Lazio. Once a promising prospect. But injuries kept him away from the game. He’s 30, let’s see if he can find some form.

Medina isn't a starter for a mid table side in France. No way should he be in ahead of Senesi who's killing it in the Dutch league. I'd still have Perez and Lisandro ahead of him too their upside is much greater and their dumb teams refuse to play them.

How long before Italy tries to cap him?

Medina suffered a knee injury that sidelined him for some of December/early January, but for the most part he has been a starter throughout the season. Already within the last week alone he has started in two different games for Lens (vs. Marseille and Nice)

I was looking at his statistics, and the kid is leaving without having scored even a single goal in the Russian league. o_O

I’m quite sure he doesn’t have Italian ancestry. I remember reading that his ancestry is German or Austrian.

    So, there’s a 55% chance.

Gaich was developing well at San Lorenzo; 8 goals on 28 appearances but only 1 goal on 14 appearances with CSKA Moscow.

There was plenty of excitement about Gaich due to his great statistics with the Argentina youth team, 15 goals on 24 appearances. That's why I still think Gaich has potential. When he was playing with equal talent (i.e, youth level) he excelled. Obviously, he needed time to adjust to professional league, but I don't think his failures with Moscow is because he is not capable. I am still buying stock on Gaich (if anyone is selling) and think he can become a regular for the NT

He lost his spot before his injury. Only starting now because Bade is out. I think.

Anyone catch Ascacibar’s first game back? He was out for almost a year.

Romero has COVID. He’ll be out for a few games.

Lautaro scored but he is missing easy chances. 10 goals in the season so far.

Palacios is back with Leverkusen but is on the bench. Alario is also on the bench, he came on late.

    Emi with another clean sheet.

Mac Allister just helped Brighton win against Tottenham, he played a quality through ball for the goal.

With Paredes and De Paul as definitive starters in midfield, the final spot is a competition between Palacios, Lo Celso and Mac Allister.

At the moment, Mac Allister is doing the best at club level.
