Sometimes I do fear for Sabella's sanity and his link with Estudiantes. Pastore should be the deputy.

Bad news for cigar_city. Looks like Barcelona are trying to get Tata Martino on board as their new manager. They have sent representatives to BA to speak with him.

Future NT manager ? Thought he should have got the chance ahead of Sabella last time around but his time will come.

Wait, is this April Fools Day already? I know there have been a lot of whining about Sabella's selections, much of it needless, in my opinion. But that would break this camel's back.
Somewhere, I know Moishe must be real happy!

I don't think Sabella will actually call up Veron, not really worried about that.

You do realize Veron plays for Estudiantes, right?

Anyone, including a random ballboy, has a chance at the NT as long as they're wearing (or have worn) red and white stripes.. at least while Sabella is in charge.

Hello Watford Wonderkid, hope you've been well.
TaTa Martino was always leaving at the end of this season, he returned for the same reason Scocco, Heinze Maxi did - to keep Nuels in Primera A. They've all accomplished the task, and at wages which are less than each is typically accustomed to. this love for Newell's is powerful, you see ...

Remember, at the beginning of the Inicial way back in August 2012, Newell's and Independiente were at the same # of points and in the relegation zone.
TaTa changed the culture at Newell's, but he is a Bielsa disciple (as is Pochettino at Southhampton), and his philosophy isn't too distinct from Barca's recent tactics/style.
Messi and Messi's father (Messi's dad's favorite player before his son was TaTa Martino) are pushing hard for Martino. We'll see, Barca are meeting TaTa in Rosario as I type this.

As for TaTa with the NT, that is probably a matter of time ...
In other news .... Higuain to Napoli is a nice fit.

Maradona and Crespo has expressed their happiness with Pipita move to Naples.

    http://www.givemesport.com/362797-gareth-bale-id-like-to-be-as-good-as-maradona-or-giggs

“I am happy for the player, who has always been my pupil. I am certain he’ll give great satisfaction to my fellow Napoli fans who deserve the respect of Italian and European football for being the real example of sport and healthy values. “Then, a real Argentine could never play in Turin.”
