Good im glad hes not even near the NT and that proves to me that Sabella, even though criticized by many, understands how to create chemistry and bond a team.

Tevez has never been a troublemaker with the NT, Riquelme, Sorin, Crespo and others loved playing with him and his personality in the team. I think the issue is his game and role is very similar to Messi's and Aguero's, and Sabella is afraid to create too much competition especially for these two players who are asked to carry the team to success. It is a similar motive why Pekerman left out Zanetti from the WC06 squad, it sure wasn't because Zanetti was bad for the team's chemistry.

Don't believe it for a second, he would come running given the chance. Then again it is Carlitos, you never know with him.

As for Kun to Barcelona, that would be good but Barcelona is going to spend close to a 100 million on attackers when they need defenders? If he does, he would play to Messi's left, and that would mean Neymar would have to go to the right. That is if he gets the starting job over Pedro, which he probably will because at the end of the day FCB did not spend all that money so that he can rot on the bench, they bought him so he can dive all over the place.

Tevez bulk of appearence was under Basile, Maradona and then Batista. Who has great scoring record under those 3 coaches? not even Messi. Under Pekerman and Basile, everything was based on Roman performance. He made 3 goals + 2 assist in confederation 2005, 5 goals + 3 assist in CA 2007, 4 direct assist in WC 2006 and 4 goals in first quarter of 2010 qualifier.... not to mention all other goal that inspired by his passing move. After having him as key players for some years and then he's not there anymore, the team certainly entered a transition period from 2008-2011.

Sabella main attacking line up is clear now. It would be Pipita, Messi, Kun/Lavezzi. The extra 1-2 forwards he would bring shouldnt bother us that much expect if its Palacio, cause having him on the field is no different with having Tevez getting sent off. Also, Tevez has the fighting spirit.

That's pretty much Di Maria before this last season. But some player just have it in their blood like Busquet, Alves, C Ronaldo, etc.

Pastore scored in a pre-season match. Happy for him but unless he plays amazing this season, learns how to track back and defend as well as not be lazy on the ball, he's not getting on the team.

Even at that, Lamela is getting a place on the team and I think Icardi will get a chance too. Add those 2 to the already attacking talent that we have on the team, I can't see Pastore getting a place.

Who is going to supply the ball forward ? ;)

Peruzzi is on the verge of signing for Sunderland. Interest in Lucas Orban has ceased.

He, Lamela and Icardi might well be the three kids in the squad for next summer. Pastore I would take as backup to Lionel should he need to be rested or injured during 2014. He has improved his consistency again.

Banega if he continues to maintain his form should emerge as one of the best midfielders in the world. He has it all as we have said for several years.

Sabella sobre Verón: "Hay que ver cómo está en el día a día para ver si puede ir al Mundial".

If Veron makes the World Cup, I'm flying to La Plata to injure him myself.

If Veron has some dignity, he should decline
