Well they are near the top of the table which is good. However, they have been inconsisant in some matches. IMO Bracamonte should have started in the beginning of the season instead of Sosa who hasn't score a goal yet this Apertura. After seeing the Boca-Gimnasia match (which was a kind of listless match), Tevez and the other midfielders weren't in much of the match at all. Delgado and Braca had to do much of the ball work. This is a young Boca squad who hasn't yet played much like a team, but it too early to tell just yet. What's is your thoughts about the team?
Well, "El Apache" Tévez is the spark in the engine that "El Maestro" Tabarez has in the team, I really dislike "Pipa" EStevez and Cascini, while "Pampa" Sosa still needs to improve to score, it seems that Braca won the fight for the starting spot up top, el Equi Gonzalez helps in the build of the team, as well as "Chelo" Delgado, Donnet made his debut in that awful midweek match vs Gimnasia valid for the Copa Sudamericana and is inoperative in Tabarez' scheme, Arley Dinas plays inside and in the above mentioned match played as a wide player, something he's not accostumed for, I hope we mount a challenge for the title but I wouldn't dismiss las "gallinas" since they failed exactly the same way last Clausura (between week 4 and 7)and they ended as champs, however los "Rojos" impressed me, as well as los "Leprosos" and "Canallas".
I think the teams from Rosario will fade. Independiente and River are the toughest obstacles for Boca. We need to get on a winning streak and win the Superclasico, and I think the gallinas are history. But right now I think Independiente has the confidence and believes its their destiny to win, like Racing last year. So they will be a tough team to beat. It is shaping up to be a great tournament.
wow another trouncing victory by los amargos!!! 6-2 over Chaca damn! 13 goals in their last two matches!!! the last time this happened was back in 1971!

Los canallas y leprosos se desinflan como alguien dijo por ahi, va perdiendo gas el flaco Menotti, quiza porq ya escuchó q lo quieren de DT en Mexico para la seleccion!!!

It is do or die for las gallinas against independiente next Sunday. If Boca can take care of racing, (which we should) then any result from avellaneda is good for us. I think I want river to lose, but that is my heart speaking. Probably a tie would be the best result for Boca. Slow down the rojos amargos while keeping the gallinas on the ropes. I can't wait 'til Sunday!

Me too. Personally I want the red devils to win, but a draw would be even better. If Boca can manage to beat Racing and a draw between Indep.-River happens then Boca would be behind Independiente by 1 point. Anything but a River win would do. I said in the beginning that Racing made a huge mistake by letting go Mello and hiring Ardiles as the head coach. And now look where they're at: mid table and looking mediocre. And I hope Braca can score a hat trick.
