    Am I missing something? I was checking the internet but didn't find anything- he's still alive and is not on his way to Japan?

    On an unrelated note, neat little fact- I checked Wikipedia and it's been 6 seasons now without a Brazilian top scorer in J1. Before that, we had six straight years of Brazilian top scorers.
