On 28/01/07, Globo reported of a incident in Massachusetts where a local American cable TV dude called "Gambá" insulted the Brasilians in his area, calling them lazy and then took our flag, threw it to the ground, and apparently, peed on it

(The original article on Globo, here)

After much complaints from the local Brasilian-American community, he has apparently decided to pull the plug on his local cable TV show and offered an apology to the Brasilians and for desecrating our flag (view original article here on Globo)

i dunno what the Brasilians in the MA area might have done to him, but i personally think it was rather childish of him to go and insult our people and nation. He's apparently insulted other people as well...

Now you know what the mexicans go through in california and arizona.

That was a general statement but I think it applies.

I wonder if the Brazillians in the north-east have started to integrate themselves into local politics yet. Thats the only way you will gain a relative state of balance.
