If so, send me a PM. I'll trade a beer for a tape on Saturday. Set my ********ing vcr on channel 3 instead of channel 4.
i taped it...already promised it to someone else. if they get it and watch it before saturday it's all yours.
I have it on my TiVo. If I can find a tape, you are in. I also _might_ be able to convert it to SVCD by Saturday.
Foos, didn't you have the USOC championship we won also on VCD? Im still interested in it if you do..
I may still have the USOC files. If I do I'll burn you a set. I pulled the game (which I haven't watched yet, BTW) off of my TiVo last night at it was THREE gigabytes. Ouch.
3 Gb?!? Sounds like video compression doesn't really like all of that green grass that makes up the background!
OK - Chris, no joy on the USOC. Unless I can find the CDs to duplicate, I got jack. None of the original files were still on my hard drive - I mush have cleared them out to make more room for pr0n. (Must ... get ... terabyte ... array ...) As for the US game, I've got it on my PC, and I can watch it just fine in TY format, but I'm having a hard time converting it to MPG. Once I get it to MPG I think I'm just going to DiVX it so it'll all fit on one disk. Unfortunately, I don't have any VHS tapes lying around. I'll try to get it sorted by Saturday, but I am not optimistic.
I don't have the bandwidth. I'd take me days to upload 3 Gb of data to the outside world. I've got a nice 100 Mbit LAN, but web pages are just about the biggest item I can feed to the outside world.
True 3GB is alot and your ISP is going to be suspicious when they see that ********. You forget that kind of stuff when you have gigabit speed at work
