For those of you in Germany, whats the latest if any new son Dortmund trying to cash-in on the USA market? I really hope they do, but i dont see it. I know i'd go to the matchs but just dont know if we have enough appeal to draw people here.
last week manu confirmed their summer 2004 tour to the usa. promoter championsworld will also sign other teams. but i don't think that bvb will be one of them. maybe again, celtic, barca, real or the italian giants. i try to get a statement from the bvb officials. jonam, http://www.schwatzgelb.com
BVB USA Tour Completely agree with you. We don't have the appeal or recognition to pull off a successful tour. We could tag along with Man U. and try to earn USA fans that way, but I really believe the BVB management doesn't believe the USA market will ever be worth catering to. You would think they are following Manchester United's success here, but I believe BVB management think the next big soccer market is going to be China and not the USA. They are missing out here. They are missing out badly.
BVB's winter training camp will be in Marbella, Spain from January 6th till 15th or 16th. The plans for the summer camp hasn't been revealed yet. Have a look at our BVB schedule.
