guys and gals, how do you celebrate thanskgiving?

Is it part of your yearly celebrations? do you get families around the table?

In any case: HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL OF YOU AND THE BEST FOR YOUR FAMILIES! ;)

I'm European but we celebrate with turkey et. all. Maybe a little lasagna too. And lots of beer Wednesday night.

Of course we do, if you live in the US, its almost a rite of passage. after the turkey/stuffing my fav is the cranberry sauce.... here's a talk from yrs back at the U.

"So," I said. "How was thanksgiving?"
"Great, I ate so much that I fell off the chair," -random friend

In a way, eating a big old stuffed turkey is what the US is all about....

We brazilians only know Thanksgiving exists because of the american cartoons and series. I dont even know what day it is celebrated.

It's pretty good, you get two days off while eating and drinking (at least I do) way too much. It's not a party atmosphere like Fat Tuesday, you're supposed to just spend time with your family and be "thankful". However, the day before Thanksgiving is the biggest bar/club night of the year, since nobody minds being hungover when they have nothing to do.

That happens often in brazil, including when you have to work the day after.

Yes but even the smallest bars has lines down the street, because everyone comes home and wants to see people they haven't seen in a while. That's probably the real reason.
