I think so too. But it is true. I am also excited about Valencia. He is living up to his potential! 3 goals in 2 games! It's like having another Mendez on the team, but I think he defends even better! :D

I sense a Napoleon Complex. LOL tsk tsk...such hostility. Although Valencia adds to my Self Esteem (OMG! CAn't believe I just Wrote that), Keep it coasting brother. We are Ecuadorians and we show repsect to all others. We can afford to go as low as others who talk CACA.

Things are diffrent now. We use to lose, we use to lose bad. WE were the peasants, now we are Royalty. Let our heroes speak through thier goals which say more than a thousand words.

    Ecuador the brave
    the "hombres"
    the bullet kickers
    The Trinity of colors

    GOAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL! <-----(FAce says Goal!)

Glasgow Celtic, when will you recrute Cristian Lara? Larson nees a worthy Replacement!

Anyway, Elemetric, I see that you went to the Italy Vs Ecuador Game at Giant Stadium and took some pics. YOu have anymore?

ahahaha no such Napoleon Complex brother! You're right though It's always best to let the goals do the talking, sometimes I just act like a fool, but hey we have been talking enough about this stuff! Just for Kicks man what is your favorite Club?...

Actually I wasn't at that game myself, a Cousin of mine was though, and he sent me pictures but those were the only ones from the actual game...

I have no favorite to tell you the truth. I've been called a "ham and Egg" soccer fan. That's a hard question to answer. It is like asking a mother/father to choose his/hers favorite son/daughter.

    I love them all equally.

heck, I hard a tough time choosing between Mexico and Columbia!

Re: Antonio Valencia is a PEEMP

    Not to worry bout chants,

I went to see Colombia play against England. My best Friends are from Manchester who play in a band called Jobe www.Jobe.info
Anyhow, they where at the game as well. I was routing for Colombia and they were routing for England of course. Something happened...when the Colombians started the Mexican wave, the English stuck the two fingers up in the air signifying "Fu*&K you" towards the Colombians. AT first I got real mad for I took it personal but then my buddy Mark said something that Made a whole lot of sense, "Don't worry, were the best friends but in the Arena, we are enemies.” It made sense n to that I agree with his display of sportsmanship.

From what I understand, egos can do a lot of damage to oneself. It makes you act like a dangerous child. In boxing, I use this weakness to my advantage for when a person gets mad and acts on his/hers emotional state; he or she will make a decision only to regret it later. Add a little alcohol and we get problems at the arena. The point is to diffuse this types of situations

you are right, Valencia is no foward, but he is an excellent player. he just is not gettin chances to show that. in the few games he played, the press were not afraid to admit he was their bst player on the field.

The kid is only 19 or 20 yrs old, and all ready in Europe. The little playing time he's had,he made the best of it.The kid is better than half of the starting line up,but does't get he's props. Maybe because he not Argentino!!!!!!

    Re: Antonio Valencia

Being Argentino has nothing to do with playing in Europe or being good. Hell, There are gringos, chinese, koreans playing in europe.. Valencia is not that good and just because the first goal he scored against Paraguay was the keepers fault. Worst goal ever and a couple of DEFLECTED shots that happened to go in and that little tap in Peru does not make him a european player.. Now if he would have scored a couple goals like Edison mendez than that would be a different story.
