Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton Actually that's half true, Danes are amazing at picking up English accents (at least Northern ones). Jan Molby spoke English with a flawless Liverpudilian accent, simlairly hearing Peter Schmeichal speak, you'd often be forgiven for thinking he was born and raised in Manchester.
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton Here's the match report from Celtic's website: Reserves defeated by Motherwell BTW - Cervi played in goal for Celtic.
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton Is there anything like a buy-back clause there (Real Madrid seems to insert that into half a dozen players each year) in case those kids develop into something?
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton Not to thread-jack........but it sure seems like one of their Polish keepers will be gone after this season. Hopefully, Cervi moves up to 2nd on the depth chart.
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton No, unlikely. You release a player you're essentially freeing them from all contractual obligations. As they're under 23 Everton could demand a transfer fee from Motherwell even though they won't be in contract.
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton Trials been extended to next week, to allow chance to play in another practice game: http://sport.stv.tv/football/165949-everton-pair-extend-motherwell-trial/
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton Arnoux and Peterlin have returned to Everton and are in the lineup for the reserve match Everton: Turner, Nsiala, Duffy, Mustafi, Bidwell, Craig, Wallace, Arnoux, Akpan, McAleny, Forshaw, Davies, Thompson, Murphy, Donegan, Peterlin. http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2010/03/30/reserves-face-man-city http://www.tribalfootball.com/arnoux-peterlin-back-everton-after-motherwell-trials-737391
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton Anton Peterlin is on trial with Plymouth Argyle. http://www.pafc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10364~2082619,00.html
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton As I said in the Summer Window thread, he and Arnoux seem like a package deal. Plymough were relgated, IIRC, so League One's not too bad of a league for them to cut their teeth and get that needed experience.
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton Had to post that same article 3 times. Once in the transfer rumor thread and in each of the player's threads. If they continue to do everything together we will have to combine them into one thread. Coton Peternoux?
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton Well, if they are a package deal one could call them the Cotonoux Agreement.
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton Brilliant. I want it to work out somewhere just for the title of the thread, of course I'm cheering for both of them as well
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton I could see Peterlin succeeding in League One. He's a tough player and as long as he stays fit, his little moments of brilliance should set him apart.

Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton Peterlin and Arnoux will likely get a half in the Saturday friendly match. http://www.pafc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10364~2085706,00.html
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton Anton played the full 45 minutes of the second half in a 2-0 win for Plymouth. I skimmed the article and didn't see his name mentioned other than the fact that he was subbed in. http://www.pafc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10364~2089121,00.html
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton Peterlin seems to play the position and style that never gets any mentions in match reports. That could be a good thing.
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton Argyle's manager Peter Reid has complimented Peterlin's performance in the friendly match, and says he will decide whether to keep him, and Laurent Manuel, within the next few days. http://www.pafc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10364~2090153,00.html
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton Peterlin was reported to have been one of the few bright spots for Argyle in the friendly yesterday. Laurent Manuel did not get into the game, and YA Reda Johnson had a nightmare day giving up a PK and being at least partly responible for both other goals.
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton Looking very likely that Peterlin will sign for Argyle. “Something is happening with Anton,” Barry McLean (his agent) told MLSsoccer.com. “There's a good chance he will sign with Plymouth. We are trying to work it out.” http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/young-peterlin-close-deal-plymouth-argyle
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton Peterlin has been included on the roster for AArgyle's preseason trip to the Netherlands. http://www.pafc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10364~2093138,00.html
Re: Anton Peterlin to Everton That is good news for Anton and I think this bodes well for him as he tries to latch onto Argyle. So far everything has been very positive during this trial. Anton's game is about doing the "dirty work" and isn't that glamorous but it's effective and efficient. I'm pulling for him and I think he can be an asset to the club as Argyle try to bounce right back into the Championship.
