Lahm is class. Was voted into the Euro 2004 team I think, the only good player in a mediocre german team (apart from Ballack). Plays for Stutttgart on loan but will be back at Bayern next season.

Phillip Lahm is a youg kid, 21, that plays for Stuttgart and the German national team. He impressed a bunch of people at Euro 04 with Germany's 3 matches and was considered one of the tournaments best. Like I said, Germany's early exit is probably why he is not better well know. In the Bundesliga and UEFA cup he is also catching a few people's eye but was recently injured and spent a bit of time off the pitch. You probably have not heard of him as much since he plays in the bundesliga and it gets little coverage, unless it's Bayern or Dortmund. But look out for him; he's got the stuff to be great and play in a club like Man U, Real, Bayern or AC Milan. :D

Yep I also heard that. Hope not, he's doing alright at Bayern, quite a useful player for them (though not brilliant). Guess it'll be better for him to move to England though, WC 2006 wise.

Haven't seen him either for a while. Got talent alright, that's for sure.

How do you get to watch German footie here, that's not on Sky is it? How much do you pay for it? Should get it as well, losing touch here...

I'll look into it. 50 quid each? Not bad. Bloody promotion deals everywhere. Nectar points, Tesco club, Boots card, I could live for a month from my cards if I could eat plastic.

Seriously though, might pm you after checking it out on the net.

robben is pretty exciting to watch but i think joaquin is the best winger in europe. zambrotta also plays well there and cristiano ronaldo has some good skill but i think he does some realy stupid ********... most overrated player so far alongside rooney!
