Ok...didn't learn much from this friendly...the players we thought were crap...are still crap. They players we though were decent are still decent. Good showing from Honduras.

    Goodnight.

Next up S.Africa (it's a FIFA date so I'm expecting our first team and a much improved performance! The match in Peru will not be so forgiving...)

Honduras looked pretty good in the second half. First half I wanted to turn the computer off.

Amado and Valladares ( goalie ) were the players of the game.

blah, against these teams were supposed to win:mad:

anyways, good job by Honduras, they kept their cool and won the game.

Conclusions (If any can be gotten)

    -Daud Gazale: Tried but couldn't
-Orellana: Thought that because he scored against Argentina he could win the game by himself, more selfish than Sanchez. Oh and played dirty
-Millar- Did he even touch the ball?
-Hans Martinez- I like him although he didnt play well, needs to be a starter in UC first.
    -Hernandez-Like Gazale, tried but couldn't.
-Iturra- played well compared to the rest, did his job.

But we all knew this before this game :D

BTW the penalty was not a penalty although the ones the ref didnt call before were. Orellana deserved a red and a kick in the ass but by Bielsa.

"against these teams we are supposed to win " ... don't feel bad about it , Colombia, Paraguay, Ecuador y Venezuela said the same thing and they all lost to "tiny" Honduras... that is the problem of underestimating "theses teams"

Agreed, they were underestimated. Clear example is that Chile actually played better with 10, when it was 11 they thought it was not going to be hard.
Anyways, Bielsa is tearing their asses a new one right about now.:D

BTW about the "Against these teams were supposed to win"
When I say this I dont mean easily or that we have to win 3-0.

    Who are you Robinho?

The media, coach etc treated Honduras with the out most respect. Everyone knew it was going to be a tough game. Now on the comment where they admit not knowing anything about Honduras, how exactly is that disrespecting them? Im sure Honduras didnt know anything about Chile but you dont see us worried;)

No harm meant my soulful fellow which is why I edited the post when I realized I posted in the wrong sub-forum. I had the Chilean press in mind when I made that post. :)

Besides, this is was not the real Chile tonight. You did not have your European or Mexican players. Just like the Catrachos lacked their Europeans. These games are good for each federation's pocketbook only.

It's a disservice to post the same comment in another thread when it isn't in context to what Chileans are actually discussing here on BigSoccer.
