    let's see about that!:p
    Our several euros are gonna be there especially for defense. Good thing Carlos Vela is in Mexico. Our only Euro forward for attack with some speed. Hopefully he's training at Azteca before the rest of the MNT comes by.

    So when is Chile's NT gonna flyover to Mexico?

    That makes two of us. This is the only decent rival Chile has till the beginning of the world cup, the guys better make the most of it.

    Viajaron a México:

    Claudio Bravo, Luis Marín.
    Waldo Ponce, Gonzalo Jara, Roberto Cereceda, Ismael Fuentes.
    Manuel Iturra, Arturo Vidal, Rodrigo Millar, José P. Fuenzalida, Jorge Valdivia, Matías Fernández, Pedro Morales.
    Jaime Valdés, Jean Beausejour, Yashir Pinto(sparring), ¿Francisco Castro(sparring)?

    Jorge Valdivia jugaría de "9" improvisado:eek:, con Valdés de 7 y Beausejour de 11.

    ----------------------------------------
    No viajaron a México por lesiones 4 seleccionados: Marco Estrada, Charles Aránguiz, Esteban Paredes y Humberto Suazo.

    Hay 11 seleccionados en sus clubes:
    Miguel Pinto(en Copa Libertadores), Pablo Contreras, Gary Medel, Mauricio Isla, Carlos Carmona, Rodrigo Tello, Gonzalo Fierro(en Copa Libertadores), Mark González, Fabián Orellana, Alexis Sánchez, Héctor Mancilla.

    If Gio and Vela play. More than likely Mexico wins. If they don't, Chile will probably have a decent chance to tie or maybe even win.

    Maybe...but I don't think they will play. They are still in Europe right?

    Alexis Sanchez, Mark Gonzalez are also still in Europe. Suazo is injured...and so is Paredes. Mancilla is still playing for something with Toluca...so now Bielsa has to improvise with Valdivia as a striker...should be interesting.

    I think we will see washed up A teams out there, so its up for grabs.

    Posible formación de Chile:

    Bravo;
    Ponce,
    Vidal, Fuentes;
    Fuenzalida, Millar, Cereceda,
    Fernández;
    Valdés, Valdivia, Beausejour(Morales).

    DT: Bielsa

    -------------------------

    Reitero que prefiero a Vidal de volante.
    Fuenzalida por fin jugará en su posición natural.
    Millar no es 6, siempre fue un 8.
    Fernández nunca me ha convencido, prefiero a Valdivia de 10.
    Valdés no es 7, pero ante las ausencias de Sánchez y Orellana deberá jugar ahí.
    Valdivia es 10, no 9, pero ante las ausencias de Suazo, Paredes y Mancilla deberá jugar ahí.
    Espero que Beausejour juegue de titular (Morales es 10, no 11).

    Luis Marín será el portero titular de Chile frente a México

    El portero de la Unión Española llegó al duelo ante los norteamericanos con mejor forma física.

    Marcelo Bielsa se decidió por una línea de cuatro hombres en el fondo.

    Luis Marín, arquero de la Unión Española, se quedó con la titularidad en el arco de la selección chilena y relegó a Claudio Bravo a la suplencia, claro que esto se debe a que el meta hispano llega al duelo con México en mejor forma física, según informaron los enviados especiales de Radio Cooperativa.

    Tras entrenar en el Estadio Azteca, el técnico Marcelo Bielsa prefirió no arriesgar al meta de Real Sociedad, para que de esta manera pueda recuperar su estado futbolístico luego un par de meses sin actividad.

    La otra modificación que realizó el técnico rosarino fue en defensa, pues se decidió por colocar a cuatro hombres en esa línea y no a tres, como era su idea inicial.

    Así, Chile saltará a la cancha con
    Luis Marín en el arco;
    Arturo Vidal, Ismael Fuentes, Waldo Ponce y Roberto Cereceda en la zaga;
    Rodrigo Millar, Matías Fernández y José Pedro Fuenzalida en el medio;
    Pedro Morales, y Jaime Valdés como aleros y Jorge Valdivia como centrodelantero.

    ------------------------------------

    O sea, un 3-7-0, ya que Vidal no es defensa sino volante, y los "delanteros" son volantes también, o sea 7 volantes y ningún delantero.

    not particularly impressed by either of these guys, and i've seen the live and have followed their careers.

    Chile will be missing at least 4 sure starters-- Suazo, Alexis, Medel, and Mark Gonzalez... add to that the long flight, the altitude, and the pollution and there's no reason why mexico shouldn be able to take this one.

    as a fan of both teams (Chile much more), i hope to see them both do well. as a Chileno, i'm looking for variantes in the team, and a strong showing. the result isn't the most important thing -- i still predict we win though

    dude i seen the mexico vs ecuador team play and they suck man. they have good pressure but have no sense of attack, no identity. i understand not all were starters but what they accomplished in the qualifiers makes me think they are really bad compared to previous years...

    IMO mexico not doing any thing this world cup, if chile cant beat you guys tomorrow Im just going to stop believing we a threat as I have been believing since the qualifiers

    any way, good luck see ya tomorrow at 4 pm eastern

    i wouldnt make such conclusions from both Sides. Mexico has always played horrible in there prior Pre-worldCup tours. Every for years they suck prior to the world cup and the Media gets all worried and crazy and makes the fans crazy. i think my compatriats that come in and say we win 2-0 just cuz we have vela aren't realistic and I also think the chile fans that say 2-0 win arent realistic knowing mexico will def score 1 goal in there Going away game from mexico , even if the reff gives it to them it will happen.

    I actually expect a Draw, 1-1

    wow que ********** les pasa a estos weones?

    2-0 estasba bien pero en favor de los mejicanos.

    no puedo creer que este equipo sea tan malo ya que de los que faltan sola mente son carmona, medel y los 3 delanteros. Que partido mas malo de nosotros. Estoy sorprendido ver al mago verse rendido, valdes y morales juegan como si estan jugando un partido de barrio. Horrible los primeros 45.

    Ponce esta bien en la marca, pero horrible pasando la pelota. Vidal weoniando en defensa, se la quitan y es gol. El aweonao de cereceda pareceria que va a tener un attaque pulmonario. Fuenzalida se ve normal, mati ni la a tocado igual al mago. Horrible no lo puedo creer.

    Ojalas que se despierten y empiezen a defender en el medio como es costumbre de nuestro equipo.

    ...and the GK! Which would make 6 players and half the team only. :rolleyes:

    Still no excuse...I can understand they want to conserve some energy for the second half but its too dangerous if they are going to give away that much of the pitch! Specially if the fail to come out passing properly.

    It says a lot of how bad that Chilean first half was when Chapa Fuenzalida was one of the highlights... :eek:

    They need to get their shit together for the second half.

    Who the hell was that Castro guy Bielsa put in the second half? Why are we experimenting with random guys so close to the world cup?
