The only team I'll root for is Jet & Cord. Otherwise if half of those teams were on a second plane and it crashed, I wouldn't shed a tear. Some of those teams don't deserve to be there at all... I'm particularly looking at you Gary & Mallory!

there isn't a team on there I dislike. The two basketball sisters I wasn't a big fan of, but I didn't dislike them or anything. I liked Christina but hope her dad is less of a jerk this time.

really looking forward to this one

I'm not. This show doesn't need another all star season.

Had a great time watching with the fam tonight; really amazed at how bad of a leg the cowboys ran (and for all we know, are still running). Loved seeing Zev and Justin showing up in Harlem Globetrotters shirts; Kent slapping the Aussie lifeguard on the butt as he and Vyksin left the mat; the difficulty of the whole leg, which really stretched teams in Australia.

This was a terrific opening leg. I love the team selection. It would truly suck if the cowboys were eliminated. Great tasks so far too.

it was fun .... i said at the beginning that I bet they don't eliminate anybody, keep the favorites around for another episode.

i loved big easy's line about how he's easy on the eyes and he wouldn't mind watching that for an hour. fun stuff.

I'm already sick of the globetrotter music again.

I agree but I also wouldn't be totally surprised. They always looked beatable after they left South America and stopped doing gaucho challenges in Season 16.

Hoping the goth losers get eliminated first.

My pick is the mute son and mom. I don't like them.

I think it's very interesting how of all these teams they've brought back for this season, probably due to their popularity and likability, only ONE is a young, heterosexual couple. Because those teams are without fail always the most BORING, even if they're good racers.

Ok, maybe two, if the Goth couple counts, but I have serious questions about Kent :D Either way, they're certainly not the normal "young straight couple" type.

I'm not even sure how they became likable. But then again they came from a time before I started watching Amazing Race. Maybe I'll learn to like them during the 1 or 2 legs they have left.

i liked them because they were just good people. they didn't argue with each other or yell at the locals. they take a bit to grow on you, but I ended up liking them very much.

the two most disposable teams finished in last and next-to-last so i wasn't too upset with the outcome.
very happy to see Cort and Jet rebound though. Son of a buck, but they had to rally.

That was another fine episode. Love it in HD! I know I'm repeating myself, but this was long overdue. Roadblocks very appropo for the outback. The kanagaroo get-ups were hysterical. So embarrassing! The task was not.

Was I the only one wishing that Mel and his father would be unable to continue since Jet and Cord were in last place at the time?

Who are you going to believe the CBS website or me?

    Obviously they changed his name.

    Check this out

    http://www.cbsnews.com/2300-207_162-3401801-5.html

    and this

    http://www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race/cast/12/kynt-and-vixen/

    and this

    http://www.myspace.com/kyntandvyxsin

    and finally this...

    https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=614781

I think CBS may have been too uncomfortable how close Kynt is to a slang word for a woman's privates? Seeing as they are still goths I cannot think of any other reason why it would be changed.

no. i didn't want him to be hurt, but I'd rather have the Cowboys. but i'm glad they stayed in the race -- they're two very good people.
