I heard Bradley wants to take a look at Josh Wolff working up top with Twelllman instead.

still, your wide play is dangerous against our biggest (non-striker realated) problem: outside backs. Castillo demonstrated that in the gold cup. It's the center of the park, where the end of Blanco's NT career has left a gaping hole.

nobody heard anything because BB doesn't say anything...

he's got the belichik rule..hate the media, suffer fools with disgust...

we don't know what euros will show up, and we don't know what u-23's get the last minute call for mexico...

altidore working with the olympic squad is good for their chemistry...

look at it this way, if usa doesn't beat mexico, we have an excuse, altidore wasn't there.

i think we have to see who both sides will have before guessing who wins...

eventually, mexico needs to, otherwise, it's going to get far more mental for them...

although a mexico win will get the bradley must go rolling again

That certainly is a "new" approach. With those two up top the best we could do is nil/nil.
    God help us!

That would be insufferable. That whole bandwagon is bad enough now as it is...

We dont need goals against Mexico hence the Twellman callup. Hes only had 100 chances he needs another 100 international games to show that at that level he cant make plays for himself, doesnt beat anyone in the air, doesnt beat anyone on the dribble, shoots, like a girl, and cant score goals or otherwise add to the offense.

Other than that hes a great International player.

He makes Alan Shearer look like a competent international goalscorer by comparison.

It was meant sarcastically but is probably actually accurate, since Bradley seems not to be able to realize that Dick Cheney could score more goals than TT.

Does anyone have any decent info on WHEN exactly the last few players will be called up for the Mexico match? Or any kind of experienced knowledge about when it might happen? Will it be announced the day before the frickin game? And who do you all think are the most likely to be called up? Is Adu even in the picture for this one? Lots of questions, hope I get some good answers. Get to it!

The FIFA window is 3-4 days before the match. I'm guessing the boys from relegation fodder Fulham won't be called in. BB said 3-4 Euros.

    1. Michael Bradley
    2. Cherundolo
    3. Adu
    4. Gooch

Does Guzan count as a Euro?

In the press release by US Soccer, they stated that the names of the others called up will be finalized and announced before they leave for Arizona on the 3rd of February.

Now, the actual final roster and starting lineup won't be announced until about an hour before kickoff.

    Antonio de Nigris, Ankaraspor
Guillermo Franco, Villarreal (If he heals in time)

And the rest will be from the domestic league. Expect something like this:

So do you all think that it is then unlikely that Altidore will be there too, along with those 4? Pardon my ignorance, but for some reason I think you can have 26 or 27 on the roster for a friendly, so with the 21 already selected plus those 4 there would be at least 1 more spot.

Those 4 are just a guesstimate of who would come from Europe as BB said that he expects to have 4 euro players. As Jozy is MLS, he wouldn't count toward the Euro players. But then again that list is just a guess by a fan and not set in stone either.
