I'll just keep mine hung front ward in my room. It's the 08-09 away, which is my favorite away in the time I've been a fan, so it's not becoming a rag or anything.
Mine hangs in my closet... Unworn for over a year. Not sure if I'll just remove the letters and numbers or let it slumber for 10 years and wear it as a throwback.
My buddy got mine for me in Afghanistan while he was serving (it's a really, really good knock off actually). There's no way I'll get rid of it, so mine sits in the closet, too. It's a yellow away kit, which was never my favorite.
I stopped buying kits with player's names on them. Just seems weird now that I'm older than nearly every player on the squad to wear their name plastered on my shirt. Plus, it has the added benefit of being useful for more than TP when a player leaves. My RVP jersey just became a Wilshere jersey. Thanks AW.
At Sounders last week a dude 3 rows down had last year's v. Persie kit. Thought it was odd to wear it to a Sounders game. If you're such a Gunner that you can't not wear an Arsenal kit to a Sounders match it seemed strange that you'd keep an RvP kit. Went over to ask him what was up and he didn't speak English so I never found out.

I don't really care about the players, per se. Always cared more about the team. I got an old O2 knockoff for 5 pounds and it has Henry's name on it. At that price, I couldn't be choosy. My redcurrant Highbury commemorative has no name, and other than that, I buy my jerseys from Toffs, so no names there.
