    The reason that this is not in the WUSA forum is because I have no intention of this being a formal play by play, but more of a discussion of whats going on in the game/what happened (from folks that were there).

    So, Lilly won't be here :)() (an illness an her family, I hope everything is okay). Millie is going to be playing, even though she was called up because shes still recovering from the season (weird).

    Beth and Tony are the announcing team. Should be interesting :rolleyes:

    Anybody else around watching?

    I'm watching. Awesome goal by Pichon. She made it look like cake. So easy.

    I'm annoyedd that they were interviewing that guy when Riise scored her goal, and didn't cut back tot the announcers. I don't like pax :(

    And the south kicks butt :p

    Oh yeah, its no 2-1 South.

    Ummm.. South made 3 subs, hucle, and iverson and mienert, replace..ummm...Pichon was one...

    The North better get their asses in check and score some goals and load up on D. The South is making it look too easy.

    They are? I havne't really been playing that much attention to the time, just enjoying watching the play.

    according to Matchtracker its 40 min. halves...but we all know how inaccurate that can be :rolleyes:

    It could very well be 40 minutes halves, but that would suprise me. I don't remember looking at the clock at the end of the game...

    Bri had some nice saves too. :)

    I guess it was 40 minute halves...somehow I feel cheated.

    *sigh*...

    Where do you start? You start in the midfield, and if you note in my pre-match thread of earlier this week, that's the one place where the South was leaps and bounds better. The best middies were unavailable (Lihong) or injured (Smith, Tullock, Monroe). It's as if except for the Philadelphians, their hearts weren't in it today. They shredded us, pure and simple...

    Welcome to the off-season...
