2-0 so Bamfordinho can rest up and put himself on show at Wembley in one of (if not) the richest matches in world football.
Chalobah, RLC and Bamford in the initial 27 man squad for England for the U21 European Championships this summer. Bamford, despite his brilliant season, is actually in a bit of tough spot with 4 Prem strikers also named.
Thankfully for Patrick he spent at least half the season playing in the band of 3 at various positions in a 4231. So I'm hopeful he can get a spot with his position flexibility.
Charly Musonda is wanted by Marseille, Valencia, and Roma on loan. Think there was talk of a permanent transfer earlier, but we are only willing to do a loan
Karl Robinson wants Lewis Baker back on loan for newly promoted MK Dons. Would love to see this happen.
Not much actual content, but a RLC article from ESPN http://www.espnfc.com/club/chelsea/...-cheek-display-for-england-a-hint-for-chelsea
Think I'd prefer Marseille. The Ligue 1 is somewhat comparable to the Premiership in style of play, and it seems to lead to an easy transition for many players. Plus they've been playing a lot of youth in the first team as of late. Monaco or Valencia wouldn't be bad, but I don't think Roma would be the best if he has a future with us
Don't disagree there. Marseille are in the Europa League as well so he could see some time in Europe. Monaco are in the CL which could be nice.
An article from Sam Wallace at the Independent on Chalobah. Really good article and makes you hope Nate can make it here. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...-mourinhos-own-class-of-92-10341930.html[URL]
What an interesting loan. I'm actually very impressed by Lew here. I wonder if Josh was able to talk to him about it, because in all seriousness, this could pay massive dividends in his development. Josh last 3 months at Vitesse were very similar to MVG's ar Milan.
Yeah I'm a little perplexed by the move, but I'll wait to see how the first part of the season plays out before I judge. Vitesse have players in his position who are almost guaranteed to be leaving, and if they get past the Europa League qualifying rounds, European competition will give him a lot of useful experience
