they are replay of the game, between Denmark vs England

    at this moment Denmark-0-England -1

this year Algarve Cup Portugal lost to England , a team the improved a lot in the last couple years
England came along way, a couple seasons ago they finish behind in the Portugal in the Algarve Cup

    You know... It's funny...
But I've never heard of a tryout for the portuguese women's national team in Portugal...
I'm glad there's that kind of investment in usa, but it's kind of stupid to go looking abroad without see what you first have...

I promise I´ll start to tell you some stuff about the portuguese futbal & futsal.

Forca Teresa, I have to agree with you, they should have tryouts all over Portugal, I guest they just depend on the teams to do all the work, the most important thing they got to do is to starter a Juniores, Juvenis and Iniciados League, they can't have girls 14, 15, 16 playing with ladies double there age.

Tryouts in other parts of the world, for both boys and girls, of Portuguese background, are also important, in countries like France, Switzerland, Germany, USA, Canada etc. the portuguese federation and the portuguese teams just not doing enough

I can't wait for your stull about the portuguese futball and futsal,
whorever makes it easy either in portuguese or english,

Women's soccer is much more advanced in the US then in Portugal, we've had a ladies NT for more then 10 years to my knowledge and haven't been able to get a competitive (winning) team. If we are to find talented Portuguese women soccer players they would probably be in the US.

Let's not forget Canada, Germany and France

they are a bunch of Luso young ladies on this youth programs, but I understand were Teresa his coming from, she doesn't think enough his done in Portugal, and I agree

Ladies programs like in Team Handball, Basketball, Roller Hockey get more coverage then our #1 sport

I included above the e-mail for Joao Rocha, not sure if you remember, but
Rocha was one of Sport Clube Portugues great players of the past and now he
is coaching one of our girl teams at Sport Clube Portugues.
He would be the best person to give you updates and answer ant questions in
regards to all of the girl teams at Sport Clube Portugues.

So please feel free to contact him. Rocha also feel free to keep Frank
updated with everything and anything going on with all of our girls teams.

I got some information about the SCP women's teams, it starter by one of our best SC Portugues Rocha

    Frank
    How are you doing?
I haven't seen you for years.

I am doing good I have 3 Daughters one out of college she went to Rider and part of the work force the others are twins both at juniors one is at Rutgers U. and other at Montclair State.
Yes this year I brought Women's soccer to Sport Club.
First time ever a girls team at Sport Club.
Most of the players I had last few years under Meadowlands United but due to lack of fields I brought them down.
Had the tryouts and made two teams.
Possibly next season we will start a U-14G

Bring a gils touch into this all men's club!!!!!!!!!

    Regards,
    John Rocha

Sweden and Finland qualify for the next round, out are the national teams of England and Denmark

    a great accomplishment for Finland

I have to find out why Joana Azevedo don't get call to the national team, when she's the big scorer in Portugal, 100 goals in 51 games, and two in the final of the portuguese cup

    Forca Joana

It was against the Finnish ladies. Had Denmark instead played Germany and won It would of been an all Scandanvian Semi-Final.

3 Nordic teams: Finland, Sweeden, Norway (they're doing alot of the right things up there)
    and Germany remain.
