I wonder how many people other than us really check on this poll. I'm sure most people, meaning other than ballot stuffers, just give the article a read and then move on with their lives.

I'm also sure most rational people don't take the poll results seriously. Yet these BS posters do...

Hmmmm. Soccer had 19% when there 5100 total votes, and it now has 35% with 6400 total votes. That means soccer has roughly gotten 98% of the votes over this period. Nope, nothing suspicious here. :D

Soccerholic, you busy voting? It seems like every time I vote, it registers two - so I can't be the only one.

I wish that damn picture of the pit crew didn't take so long to load - I'd be able to vote twice as fast!

Also, anyone notice how they don't even have soccer listed as a sport up in the left-hand corner of the page? I guess we fall under "other sports". We'll show them who's an "other" sport. You insult soccer, you get a community full of irate soccer geeks skewing your poll results - and that's a promise!

Woke up this morning and saw the news...
    Soccer has surpassed NASCAR!!

    Soccer - 38%
    NASCAR - 37%

I'll vote 20 more times before I go to work just to bump up the score a tad bit more... What do you think, should we saturate the poll with soccer votes?

Haha! Methinks the results of the poll no longer match the crappy article next to it - put that in your pipe and smoke it, McCullough!

    NBA: 2%
    NFL: 20%
    Soccer: 39%

Just noticed something... percentages add up to 101%. Must be rounding up or down to the nearest integer

I think its time to start emailing the author about the results. Soccer is over 40%, with a nive cushion over NASCAR, and the NFL is under 20%.

Try to be polite--just remind him that soccer isn't like memmbelty peg after all, and that Frank DeFord doesn't actually have any final word when it comes to soccer.

I'll try to find his email. Well done to everyone who did the stuffing.

42% now. We sure know how to stuff the ballots. Especially when somebody pisses us off! :D

OK, there's definitely quite a few soccer guys voting with me right now. I have discovered that after you clear your cookies, that you can be more efficient at stuffing the ballot by bringing up several pages at the same time to vote. I'm bringing up 7 at a time right now. Up to 43%!

I've tried that before, and it didn't record all my votes. I opened 20 windows, but it only recorded one. I think you may have to delete cookies each time you vote. I'm running a key-stroke macro that quickly deletes my cookies automatically so I simply have to click on the link to the MSNBC page.

At what point do we stop stuffing the ballots? I mean, a little bit of a cushion over NASCAR is good, but too much of a cushion is not realistic and will make them suspicious.
