That kid Santi was very good as well. Is he getting minutes? I hope the whole u-17 squad let's their contracts expire, sign with Bunge, and he gets them all a European team.
Santi hasn't debuted yet, neither has Eduardo García, the Chivas goalie that was in the WC best 11. That'd be great. Wouldn't entirely surprise me if Efra goes dirt cheap to a Euro team. MLSers tend to not be expensive. And I hope Bruce El-Mesmari moves abroad or establishes himself as a NT player in Pachuca just because he has the best name ever.

I like these surprise signings. Hopefully he can manage to stay away from the Mexican spotlight and thrive. The attention given to someone like Diego Lainez along with expectations to deliver, must weigh heavily on such young shoulders.
Hopefully Boavista fires its social media person and doesn't hire a replacement. I think this kid will do better without Mexican fans acting like Mexican fans.
El-Mesmari needs to convert to a FB and he could be a top class player imo. If not, he will be an average mid-fielder and turn out no better than a Cesar Villaluz type of player.
The guy who owns this club is also the same owner who owns Lille. they have recently brought in some big names

An 18 year-old being with hardly any first team experience in Mexico becoming a regular starter at Boavista is something unrealistic. Him getting earning some play time for cup games would already be an achievement for his professional growth.
