There's also the Royal Air Force 29 Squadron which has used XXX since just after WW I to the modern day.

Been thinking about the photos I've seen in ads over the last few years. How many of them are AI and how many of them are actual images taken by real humans of real humans?

Unless it's from the last few months, it's certainly not AI. But it's not real people either. Photographs have been retouched since photographs started, and it got a little better with the airbrush, but Photoshop makes it pretty easy to turn people into cartoon versions of themselves while still fooling us into thinking they actually are human.

This gives some hint of what is going on behind the scenes.

Meh, you really want those cars to stop if they detect a large object on their hood. Sure it sounds funny but how would one handle it otherwise?

Yeah, but if a couple of privileged assholes ride up on those stupid MTBs or BMX bikes and place a traffic cone there to get back at suburbia, you want the car to hit them.

I think those posts are all AI generated. It's just that the bot is hallucinating again.

If you ask AI to solve world hunger it will recommend that we kill a billion people.
which is simultaneously 100% right and 100% wrong.

... heard that yesterday. good line.

Should I post this here to show an amazing new application of AI, or should I post this in the Music thread to say people making music for sale is probably a few years away from ending? Maybe less. There's no reason for Spotify to be anything but this, except for nostalgia.

    https://app.suno.ai/

To make a new song you have to pay, but you can listen to ones based on other people's prompts.

It's scary good. Scary good. It's not perfect, but it's only a few centimeters away.

    https://jabberwocking.com/commercial-chatbots-lean-to-the-left/

It’s an article about how AI seems to be leaning left. It talks about why that is.

One reason listed is that AIs are designed to not be racist, and if you don’t feed the computer any racist shit, well, you’re cutting out aLOT of right wing discourse.

Na, we are a long time away from removing humans from making and playing music. There will be some mix for a while, but we won't be eliminated so easily.

  24. Are they using AI fake anchorwoman for a news show?
