Who deserves to make the final 23? Some are obvious but other spots are up for grabs. Discuss.

I don't wanna hear any shit for getting it from a UK site. Google is biased.

Ofcourse I have, I even went to see that boring game against Ecuador...But c'mon what other freaking players do we have?!! exactly...no one...Aldrete? Valenzuela?....If anything I would take Nilo over Aguilar but we have too many freaking defenders...don't get your panties in a bunch, these two are going but they're not gonna see any playing time.

The ones that are going to be left behind are Bofo, Vendado, and either Aldrete, Aguilar, or Valenzuela. We'll still have 5 forwards which is plenty. Better to have more defenders because remember the yellow card accumulation rule.

You make a good point. Lets hope Venado and Bofo don't make the final cut.

Está Aguirre por decidir a los jugadores que no irán con el Tri a Europa

Aguirre already has an idea who he is going to cut.

The Angola game is a last chance for some.

theres 26 on the list, Capitanes is saying by rule fifa asks for a 30 player provisional list...so theyre sayin aguirre will name 4 more players on the list by tomorrow at 5 am cuz thats when the lists are due to FIFA, and the Final 23 on june 1st

    any truth to this?

I don't think so, the rule says something along the line that the limit of the preliminary roster can be no more then 30, but it doesn’t say that coaches have to take 30

This is BS, other countries have given list below the 30 maximum allowed. ESPNDeportes is starting to really really piss me off. I wonder if ESPN Conneticut knows that they have a division that alwaysis taking BS, I know ESPN here in the states wouldn't put up with so much BS from their shows/sportscenters.

I think he should just all 3 guys at the same time. Itll be more painful to be the last guy cut, than one of the 3.

I think you're right because that makes sense but I haven't read the actual rule on that.

I think he's going to cut Venado and Bofo. We sure as hell don't need 7 forwards and certainly not two shitty forwards.

Ya that's crappy, but I think he's trying to decide on one last defender to cut. Not sure who he has in mind but it'll be of little importance because we're talking about the very last subs he'd use.

I'm pretty sure you have to have 30 players named, even if they are reserves.

my guess for the 3 cuts...

    1. JC Valenzuela - he hasnt been playing bad but is the worse outta all the 7 centrales, and like sum1 said we dont need 7 fwds, so we sure as hell dont need 6 centrales

    2. Bofo - some say he can be a sub for cuah, true BUT if hes cut its cuz Cuah will be a sub and thats all in SA and thats what cuah shud just be, a sub.

    3. Paul Aguilar - Pechu has outplayed him and aldrete has aguirre confidence.

    just my opinion tho

For realz... I'd rather be stuck with an extra defender than one of those two bozos.

Aguirre will have to name his "reserves." Watch Nery on that list.

Maybe Nery comes through on the big stage, it could happen.

You'd seriously let Venado on the WC squad? Why? Seriously, what is your argument to take him to SA?

I'm thinking along the same lines. Another poster stated that he will take 24 to Europe for friendlies and probably decide his last cut during those games. I'm happy with his selection of players and there's not favortism or drama like in previous WC editions that fack things up. We have a kick ass team for sure.

Very true it could happen. Look at Omar Bravo who stepped up with Chivas against Libertad the other day and now Chivas is in a very good position to get to the semis in Libertadores. Who would've thought.
