Though I do not like how the group stage is centralized, I think the AFC is doing a good job marketing this. Hopefully in the future they will give the better nations multiple bids so that there will be more excitement in the domestic leagues as teams battle it out for Champions League spots. Also hope Nepal gets its act together and participates in the tournamnet soon. Unfortunately unlikely.
re I hope that Asian soccer develops. I think that this convention increases an Asian soccer level. But a few reforms are necessary to animate this convention more. AFC should change GroupStage to Home&Away. And Japan, Korea, saudi,... a strong country should be given more tickets of this convention.
