These guys are so bad take way too many touches on the ball all the time. They take the most ridicoulous shots instead of simple square balls.

Thats the end of it for freddy.

    Ricardo hates talent.

Based on how he was playing, I really hope that Freddy was subbed off to save him for their next league match.

No. He was a little early on the first one, but the other guy still could have made that pass early.

On the second one, Adu was even with the second-to-last defender while the last defender was rushing up to put on the offside trap. If the Monaco player just delivers the pass Adu is 1 on 1 with the keeper. He takes an extra 2 touches and by that point Adu is about 5 yards offsides. It was a great run by Adu, his teammate just didn't make the pass when he should have.

WHY???!!!!! Monaco is so frustrating. Although, I'm sure I'm more upset than most of their supporters right now.

No, it was the right move. Adu's good, but Park is a better finisher.

Freddy's not going to be playing much as long as Ricardo thinks he's a striker.

I think Park is faster also... so long balls can be effective now.

Not at all. The incompetent midfielder needed to dish the ball 2 touches earlier. He would have been through.

I agree wth was that guy doing? All he needed was like 2 touches instead of the like 5 or 6. Even if he lobbed it Freddy could've used his speed to latch onto the end of it. That counter had such potential.

Ok, so put both of them on the field at the same time, because the only person creating opportunities for anyone seemed to be Adu. Oh, and Freddy is a pretty good finisher.

So if you're down a goal...why would you take off an attacker who has played fairly well the whole game for another attacker?

Exactly!!! Ricardo had seen enough. He's saving Adu for this weekend.

He throws Park in to see if he can do any better than the last match. If Park stinks in this match, we might see a surprised start for Adu this weekend.

You must not have seen the Marseille match. Park completely missed a cross near the end of the match that he should have hammered home for the win. It rolled out for a throw in...

LOL that was an awful shot by PSG.

dcpohl, they took out Adu because Park is a better striker.

Park has scored a goal for Monaco. Adu hasn't, yet. Not that unreasonable to bring in a guy who has scored since joining Monaco. It's really not the end of the world, folks. Please don't read too much into it.

That may be...but before you suggested he was a better finisher and I'd have to disagree with you there. But, then again who has seen enough of Park to know?

Oh really, please tell me how much minutes Park had logged versus Adu? Is it like 180 vs 30?

On the bright side at least we've been finding reliable streams, so when he does break in to the starting XI we can watch Freddy tout le temps!

Park forced off the ball in the penalty area. Should have done better. Monaco get a free kick, corner, and another chance with a cross but it all comes to nothing.

Ricardo looks as if he's pondering something as he's walking off the pitch...or he's just pissed.

Probably precisely why Ricardo brought him in when they needed a goal.

Relax, Francis. The whole "Everyone is an idiot because Freddy isn't starting and scoring every game" shtick is getting really old.

He got ~70 minutes and didn't look bad at all. Can't we please leave it at that without making snarky comments about the perceived incompetence of everyone around Freddy?
