Re: So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehn, Adu - The chronicle of Freddy's European Tour

    Fellas ,

Adu's first game with Caykur Rizespor:

    CAYKUR RIZESPOR vs DENIZLISPOR

Date: 5 FEB. Saturday 14:00 (local time)
    TV: TRT 1

For title and goes to top league, they must win the game, aspecialy in the home crowd.

Denizlispor very close to C.Rizespor at the point table, therefor They will play for the win too .

Adu,Theo,Clement combo.... If they works together smootly, I think result will come as soon as possible...

I can imagine: Adu's dripling at the side and pass the ball to the Clement, Clement poaching type toughing the ball goes in.....1-0
Theo win the ball fight at the middle, quick pass to the Adu, Adu's Loop pass to the Clement, defens fouled and Rizespor win the PK...Adu takes PK?:)
    2-0

this is my imagineory predict of goal set up......second goal maybe hard to become real for now, but, first goal story, highly possible with Clement and Adu ,Theo alltogether at the pitch.

I have huge hope for their coach. The one I like his game phylosphy(spell?).
Coach name: Umit Kayihan. Experianced coach, He knows all kind of setuations in these leagues. I believe He will add LOTS of plus things to the Adu.

    Over all:

Lets hope to the Good and Bright start for Adu.

    Regards

From the Wikipedia page about Rize,

"Rize is a quiet town, a typical Turkish provincial capital with little in the way of night life or entertainment. "

Might be the perfect spot for our boy Freddy to Rehab his career.

I wonder about Freddy's conditioning and fitness. He hasn't played regularly in forever. The manager at Ingolstadt certainly made mention of it, though it could have been posturing.

Still, I doubt he is in 90 minute shape. I'd have to think he starts on the bench.

In order to stave off depression, I am going to try and treat this like someone just told me a 21 year old I had never heard of, signed with a team in the Turkish second division.

Hey guys, that's pretty cool. Is the Turkish second division better than MLS? Any chance this young kid can play left back?

Yeah I've heard this kid is a tight dribbler, somewhat like Starikov but smaller. Left footed though and still having to grow into a professional lifestyle.

Showed vision in his youth development. The Turkish second division is a physical league similar to MLS, although MLS may just trump it in depth and quality.

AC Milan xplayer Ibrahim Ba ''Iam sure people who follow Milan games knows this name), signed from AC Milan to the Caykur Rizespor... He played in this club too. Then He before retire He return to the AC Milan ...

    This time They signed Adu.

Lets hope Adu start bright for his new club career....

    @for the weekend game,

Denizlispor play decent footy at away fields....

Its gonna be interesthing match up....

Probably Adu will be at the bench ,duo to fitness(?) etc...

How about, "I am sixteen, going on seventeen".

I heard this was Freddy's favorite tune when he signed with MLS.

Ba used to have the blond hair, I will always remember him but Adu should do well as I stated eariler. This is a league that at least he's more talented them almost all the guys. Obviously Football is more about the overall ability than just talent but if you are more talented than anyone, the growth should be easier for Adu. I just hopes he gets going strong, the league seems wide open and physical and we all know what Adu can do on an open pitch. That's where he's scary.

    Terrible post dude.

I don't think that we should worry about him starting yet, first of all he has to make the bench.
Then it would be nice if he got in some games.
Then it would be nice if he got in games in a position on the field where he can excel.
Then it would be nice if he got to start.
Then it would be nice if he got to start from a position on the field where can excel.

Adu comments on his new club (i.e. the standard new club quote):

“Çaykur Rizespor is a fresh start for me and I want to do well here,” Adu told Dogan News Agency. “We have a good squad and I feel we have a good chance of being promoted to the Super League.”

This one's on TRT1, that's a "Free to air" channel. So I suppose there should be a stream available. They even have a stream on their website, don't know if that works while there's a game on though.

There are a lot of websites where you can watch Turkish channels, like this one for example:
    http://www.allekanalen.nl/live/trt-1-106032.html

So Aris want to get rid of him, refuse to play him, may not have benn paying him (at least not on time), try to get his contract voided in the courts, and then when he leaves they won't file the proper paper work in a timely manner? Are we sure Adu wasn't caught nailing the owner's wife or something?

Worst case scenario: HBO OK's a "Europe and Down" comedy for Freddy.

    Freddy ******* Adu = Kenny ******* Powers.
