    The Deportes broadcast is not live. All Champions League matches usually start at the same time, 7:45pm Lisbon time (11:45am pacific).

    Castillo didn't play for them over the weekend. He's pretty much a backup there behind Cristiano Lucarelli and Oleg Hladkiy (10 goals in 11 games) as well as Brandao. Castillo has only played in 4 of their 11 matches so far, 2 starts and no goals. Brandao has scored 6 in 10 and Lucarelli has 3 in 7.

    They have Shaktar Benfica scheduled on direct tv at talking 11 pm tuesday October 2, not wednesday October 3. But its 11pm now and they are showing the Sevilla game. So i guess the game is tomorrow along with the rest of the remaining matchday three games.

    False television schedules are a biatch.

    Then why is he a backup on a Ukranian team?

    It isn't listed on ESPN360.com.

    Which is silly if they're showing it on Deportes. :confused:

    Try this link. Scroll down and you will see several games listed for today live. I watched both Manu-Roma and Arsenal-Steuna yesterday.

    I'd say that based on what I've seen he ought to be, but Tonerl's point is well taken. He may very well be star material but he's not fully established, for reasons unknown to me.

    Apparently this is the lineup:

    ---------Quim;
    Nélson, Luisão, Edcarlos, Léo;
    -Katsouranis, Maxi, Rui Costa;
    -----Di Maria, Rodriguez
    ---------Cardozo

    Same as the Sporting game, except with Cardozo in place of Nuno Gomes.

    According to uefa.com, it's same players, but more like:

    ---------Quim;
    Nélson, Luisão, Edcarlos, Léo;
    - Maxi, Katsouranis, Rodriguez;
    -----Di Maria, Rui Costa
    ---------Cardozo

    The stadium is hella empty... a day of work with people arriving late in the game (with trafic).

    But still, I think it will be far from full house, around 45000 (in 65000 possible).

    just double click on the picture and it goes to full screen.

    Meanwhile, Adu is there in uniform and presumably on the bench -- just say him walking in to the FIFA song in pregame.

    Never would have thought of that.

    Was he walking to the beat? Was he singing? Does anyone here know if Adu can carry a tune?
