adidas +Predator/+F50/adiPure Thread [3]

This makes no sense. If you're playing not to get injured you probably shouldn't be playing. What boots I'm wearing has no impact on how hard I go in for a tackle. I could be wearing rusty nails as studs and it's not going to change whether or not I slide or how hard I go in. Put me in flip flops or boots with rusty nails and razorblades on the soles and I'll tackle the same way.

To be topical, are just the 3(?) colorways coming out on release of the powerswerves? B/R/W W/R/B and Becks? I thought a good 5 colorways were out fairly early with the Abs. B/R/W, CL, Black/Silver/Sun, Blue/White, Becks, or were the staggered slightly?

 

It applies to sensible people. I mean really do you think anyone would play in boots with rusty nails? You're insane! A doc would have to run in with a Tetanus jab for every free kick! YOU'RE CRAZY!

If you have a wide foot get the preds.I thought they fit nice.Also if you want a comfortable shoe get preds because they have great leather.Although I dont know alot about tunits the preds (absolute) are a great boot.

ok im going to help you out here. we have discussed the adipure several times on here and there is a couple pictures around. notice the [3] in the title? that means this is the 3rd thread about adidas new boots. have a search for the other two threads.

 

I haven't played in abs, but I've tried them on and they're very comfortable and the leather's real soft (so it'll mold to your foot well). I can't tell you much more about them than that. I've owned a pair of tunits for over a year now.... and I wish soo much that I had gone the other way and bought some abs.

Preds > Tunits for the simple reason that tunits suck.

Pros for Tunits:
1) Look nice
2) You get a consistent strike on the ball
3) they're pretty comfortable

Cons for Tunits:
1) pain to change out studs
2) you can't feel the ball AT ALL (synthetic typically sucks).. K-leather is where its at.
3) Studs strip and chassis strip making the boots impossible to work with.
4) Tunits is a good concept, but the boot sucks.

Those new adipures look shcweeeeeet, hopefully they are kangaroo leather.

I'm pretty sure the Adipures are a February release.

I know at least Kaka will be wearing them. There was some other big name I saw that will be wearing them. I wanna say Lampard or Ballack or Messi, but I'm not sure. Only quote me on Kaka.

They're gonna make a GREAT blackout shoe.

And those PowerSwerves on SoccerShopUSA are completely authentic. They're just on there for presale, I'm assuming.

 

You're right - when you click the powerswerve, at the bottom of the item description it says: AVAILABLE NOVEMBER 2007.

 

actually... i think it's the high end because I think I can see the power pulse insole...
