    You can thank the hype machine of EPL for that. With EPLs marketing even Ligue 1 could be made into more than it is.

    Arsenal with 0 shots on target. Even Barca with the season they are having beat them home and away

    I concur with the above, I would have thought the whole of the EPL is better than Porto, no easy games, , way too physical that players from other leagues mostly can’t cope, much too fast…….and all that, Arsenal may still come back but that propaganda is way too overbearing

    He's a good player just coming back from injury. He will make lots of money at PSG. Good for him and his family.

    For real. I had to force myself to watch that crap game between Inter and Atleti. I really should have done something else. It's one of the most boring rounds in a while. Hoping we get a turnaround in the second legs with some drama. My hot take: Griezmann is 3 times the player fans of Lautaro think he is. Never saw him as anything other than average.

    In news from the free state of Cataloniastan - Apparently grass enthusiast and part time coach Xavi assembled his assistants and asked them to put their cell phones on the table. One of his relatives checked everyone's whatsapp messages. Apparently he is very angry about the news from the locker room getting leaked to the press and is looking for the mole.

    Even if its not an accurate report it's still enjoyable. :D

    poor CL games so far and there will be a lot of poor teams in the 1/4,other than us,City and Inter the teams are piss poor

    I went back and looked at some of the rosters for those same teams of a decade a go or so and oh boy, it's really going backwards isn't it.

    The uncomfortable truth about why there's so few classic 9 and goalscorers in the game nowadays is because the game favors creators rather than finishers. It's more benefitial for the team having the top scorer on your team to be a winger than a CF.

    After the boring games of Tuesday, I didn't have the patience to watch the full 90 mins yesterday. Unbelievable how boring football has become at times (granted, I don't invest much time watching anymore). Having said that, I loved seeing Pepe start a CL Round of 16 game at 40 (he'll be 41 in the return game). What an absolute legend, truly one of the greats. Good luck to him!
