No, I was just always a big Gascoigne fan. I couldn't find the Lazio pic so I just went with the Spurs photo instead.

Adriano is the best forward in the world right now. Milan do have a great defense but, Inter also have the best forward and a good midfield.Barca couldnt score a goal but, they did create some quality chances and almost scored a couple of times. Inter can win this match Adriano needs to have a big match but, he hasnt had a bad one this season so he should have a good match. Right now Inter are playing the best Football in Europe they just beat the 2nd best team in Spain by 4 goals in Valencia. If Adriano can score a goal or 2 then Inter should win.

I agree that he is playing well right now, but I wouldn't call him a world-beater yet. I wouldn't be surprised if Maldini and Nesta shut him down hard today.

They are the 6th placed team in Serie A.

IMHO, I think this says much more about the strength of La Liga rather than the prowess of Inter.

    Milan 3 - 1 Inter

Let's not carried away. Adriano is very good, but world class. I just don't think he is in the elite class of strikers yet.

Yep. Sorry, I meant what Spartak was getting at. And I didn't mean in it a pretentious way either. Just trying to help spread some subtle soccer knowledge to help avoid upsetting the snobs. :)

If Adriano isn't "World Class" then Sheva, Henry, Ronaldo, etc. aren't world class either. Right now there is nobody in the world who is playing better. Therefore, I would categorize Adriano as "World Class".

That's kind of misleading though... they're still undefeated heading into this match and have been downright dominant in CL play thus far.

Yea thats true it is misleading, because all italian teams are doin good this year except roma and lazio. I think this year will be weird with the standings. Neways i wish good luck to both teams and im looking forward to watching them. But i think today the victor will be inter, just because adriano and vieri are starting to click FINALLY!!!! Adriano is world class at the moment and probably the most lethal finisher in the whole world. Sheva is not world class though because he has done nothing at international level.

So I'm guessing your of the opinion that Alfredo Di Stefano and George Best weren't world class either? And for the record, Ukraine is currently in first place in a WCQ group that contains European Champion Greece, Turkey, and Denmark.

I think he is without a doubt among the best 3 strikers in Europe.

I would hope for Argentina's sake at WC06, Veron isn't their chosen playmaking midfielder once again, he was awful, what a lot of wasted chances off of simple free kicks and corners that went awfully awry.

I would hope for Argentina's sake at the upcoming WC06 Veron isn't the chosen playmaking midfielder once again, he was awful today to me, unable to deliver the simplest of freekicks and corners which repeatedly went awry.

In other words, he's about to be linked with Spurs, yet destined never to play for them.

Did someone say that Sheva's not worldclass?

I guess that Greek Players are all world class then since they won Euro 2004
