All season long we've seen the games with little on the line all to find out if DC is bad or not-so-fine. Now MLS will tell you It's exciting as can be So many slots are up for grabs This should be ecstacy. So now it's the post-season The action's getting keen But now that the games are finally good They hardly can be seen. For football rules the television 'Tis sad, but it's true Only the internet will tell If the Rapids beat the Crew. Why do you tease us, MLS With weak games all the year then just when things are heating up You completely disappear.
Good poem. God, we need another way to get games besides Shootout and the internet. Damn american football........
Several college football programs are teaming up with Real Networks RealOne Pass to provide streaming video of their games. For example, Nebraska has 'Huskers Nside' for $20/month I think. You can see the games not on TV (using the in-stadium 'Husker Vision' camera's) as well as pre and post game interviews. I haven't tried it, but reportedly it worked OK the first couple games this season. MLS should look into that, if that can't satisfy their fan base by getting national broadcast games, maybe they could try this.
What kind of quality would you get? Of course, I'm assuming everyone is watching has a high-speed connection.
That's true also. What about just making MLS Shootout cheaper? I think more people would get it then, including myself.
They did. It was only $50 this year. That averages out to about .33 cents per game. It don't get much cheaper. You'll blow more than that on beer on any given Friday night.
Really.... Well, that's definately not bad. Especially compared to other sport packages. Hey question: in the package do you get playoff games also?
Unless you have neither a dish or digital cable, then you're screwed. If the networks are going to be uncooperative, I say go with the streaming video- hell go with streaming video just for me, I'll gladly pay $20 for a season's worth of games.
