    Hey Guys

I think we need to come up with a nickname for our National team. I say " The Wizards of Europe"

    No offence but Kinda fruity.

How about something that links our colors and Ocean side stature like
"The Crimson Tide" Wave after wave of unpredictable Offense!

    They already have a nickname.

They are called in Portuguese "a equipa das quinas"

Which is derived from the the FPF emblem which is a cross. Or the corners of the cross. Doesn't translate well into English, but I am sure you get the picture.

"The Crimson Tide" is a cool name but you run the risk of being mistaken for The University of Alabama. :D

I thought we were done with you. This is the best that you can do to offer something to the discussion.

Thats not fair Frank, Rochemback was clipped rather badly on that play.

Please I don't want to get into another diving discussion. That one is dead and buried.

I have had enough of him, he needs to go back to Old Trafford and watch Rooney and VNR dive inside the box. This would be for his own good.

So he could finally realize that since the English invented the game, they probably invented "Diving"

some of you lads need to lighten up a little....I did say I was joking...I do love the skill and passion of Portuguese soccer and much prefer it to most of what is on offer on the continent.....just not sure why the team needs a nickname...PORTUGAL seems fine to me...and I would certainly root for Portugal against anyone....except England....

Upset that England doesn't seem to believe in PRACTISING penalty kicks regardless of who is coaching...Robson, Venables,Hoddle,Ericsson.....just wish England had a chance to play greece in a major final.....

You might have to wait until Euro 2008 for that possibility to come to pass ;)
